I am posting my first blog.

ANYWAY,
I'll just update you on my current life in this post.

I just got back from Williamsburg, VA. I was there for a leadership conference. I met Larry Scott, Rachel Scott's uncle. Rachel Scott was the first victim of Columbine.
After I spoke briefly to Larry, I went to some meetings before meeting Alexis Jones, a finalist from a past season of Survivor. She was really nice and bubbly, and her speech was inspiring. Did you know she actually had to pull some CRAZY stunts to get on that show? She basically went to the producer's office and asked for a random, non-existant person that she made up on the spot. Then, she actually got in due to someone with a close name in the office.
The next day, I met Chantelle Anderson, a retired basketball pro. (She's 6'6"!)
After interviewing her for a paper I'm writing, the conference was over, and here I am, at home. It was a great experience, and learned tons, especially the truth about Columbine. Apparently, Rachel Scott had written an essay 6 weeks before her death. It was about the importance of kindness, and in it she proposed a challenge to the world that I am trying to follow.
