23rd - 30th May
Well where do I begin XD
Me and Jay went on holiday to Salou, Spain for a week with 8 of our friends. (10 of us in total) It was so fun! I shall give a brief summary of each day :3
23rd, Monday - We had to be at the airport for about 6am, man were we tired XD We took off at 8:45am and we arrived at Reu Airport before Midday. I slept for about half an hour on the flight which helped my fatigue X3
We took a coach to our hotel, unpacked once we got our rooms (yay balcony) and then went to the seafront in Salou for lunch, and had cocktails! We had a wander on the beach afterwards and then decided we shall go to the beach and have a swim. Went back to our rooms, got our towels and hit the beach! It was so hot and the sea was so clear
heart I got all pruney I was in the sea that long XD Afterwards, went back to the hotel, washed up and had a buffet, twas yummy. Went bed early as we were all so very tired.
Tuesday - We went to Port Aventura Theme Park! Spent the whole day there. We went on the majority of the rides, Furius Baco, Tutuki Splash, Grand Canyon Rapids, Carrousel, Stampida, Silver River Flume, Hurakan Condor and Dragon Khan. Such a fun day! XD
After cleaning up after the madness of the park back at the hotel, we went out for a nice meal at a lovely Italian Restaurant for our friends Birthday. We drank lots of Sangria and I got all soppy from being typsy XD We went for cocktails at another bar afterwards and we had such a mad waiter, he was wearing an electric pink shirt and was hyper! Went back to the hotel after finishing our drinks and had some more cocktails from the bar by the pool and played cards.
Wednesday - We decided to split up a bit and me and 7 of us went to a Water Park called AQUOPOLIS! There were so many cool rides and we went on them all several times. We got a few bumps and bruises but so worth it. We loved the Black Hole slide! We got so burnt tho, we should have re-applied the suncream, ow! At the end of the day we say the Dolphin show, which was awesome, and before we left we had another few goes on the slides and such. After the majority of us treated our burns once we got back to the hotel, we went for a buffet and our friend decided to make an icecream pot tower from our dessert. XD
Thursday - Went to Port Aventura again! Saw some shows this time round as well as going on the rides again. Jay went on Hurakan Condor after not going on it on Tuesday with me and a few others. Had a buffet again once we got back to the hotel.
Friday - Went to Barcelona! Saw the Sagrada FamÃlia Cathedral. It was so awe inspiring! It was so high and we found out that it should be finished in about 2030. That would mean it would have been built for 150 years! O_O
Went inside and was shocked all over again by the immense stained glass windows. We had a look through the museum underneath the cathedral, so much history. Had a wander around Barcelona looking for souvenirs afterwards, which I found, and then after a Cappucino in a Cafe, we went back to the hotel. Had a buffet and then after cleaning ourselves after the long day we had more cocktails by the pool and played cards again.
Saturday - I finally managed to snap a picture of our 'Ow' Cat friend. (it was a cat that said 'ow' instead of 'meow') We went shopping for goodies and it was a chill day too as we had been so busy all week. After shopping we went for a dip in the hotel pool which was lovely. Had a buffet again and then relaxed by the pool while watching the nightly shows that the hotel provided.
Sunday - Port Aventura Water Park this day, which we spent half the day in. Some cool rides but I think Aquopolis was way better! We went back in to the theme park once we were done in the pool and did a few things that we hadn't done before. Wandered through the shops there and then decided to go on Dragon Khan again. Me, Jay and Ben went on it 3 times in a row within half an hour seeing as the line was so small! Wicked! We had a boat ride back to the entrance and once Jay had a Yard of Beer (look through the pictures) we went home after taking a few cliché snaps in front of the Port Aventura sign. Had buffet as we did like the buffet
biggrin We decided to have a good night out drinking, and man did I drink too much!
We picked one cocktail bar and stayed there. We had a 5 litre Long Island Cocktail (that tasted mainly like coke syrup, but was so strong), it had really long straws and sparklers! I must have drank about 2 litres of it XD Beyond my better judgement, I had another cocktail called a Sex Machine (lol!) and I was just gone from this world! XD XD I remember everything mind, I was just so fuzzy. Was unwell when we got back to the hotel, but I willed it as I wasn't going bed with all that in me XD
30th, Monday - Relaxed for the morning as we had to get to the airport after 6pm. We had one more wander through Salou, had lunch and then went back to the hotel to grab our things and wait for the coach to the airport.
Our flight was very turbulent and sadly I got very bad ear ache, but I survived!
biggrin Got back to Bristol after 8pm and with just a few of us left after everyone went back home, me, Jay, Ben, Holly and Steph went for a meal in a local pub and man was that good X3
