~(Bio)~
Short Story: Blaine is the second oldest of five siblings. His father was the first king of their world, Iontach. And his mother was one of many, many concubines... Growing up, he was taught along with his older brother how to rule a world (while the three younger siblings were mostly neglected). Since they belong to a world of immortal beings, Blaine wasn't too concerned with such a thing. His father would live forever, after all. However, some unfortunate circumstances left him and his siblings as orphans. Christian, Kaiser, and Damon were still young. Blaine spent most of his time taking care of them, while Alec got the monarchy back under control. It wasn't until the youngsters were older that Blaine realized he didn't know what to do with himself, since it seemed his siblings didn't particularly require his assistance anymore...
He took up a few tasks that he didn't particularly think Alec needed to deal with. Mostly, it was monitoring the other species in their world. He invited many of the species' leaders (and posse) to stay in their palace (since five people didn't need the whole thing to themselves). While assisting Alec with species control, he had a sort of one-night-stand with one of the visiting envoys. And then nearly fifty years later, surprise! He was met with his son, Sevie, who was nearly as confused as he was. In the meantime, Alec had asked him to be something of a lobbyist. When Alec needed information on how to handle a certain species, he went to Blaine. Thus, Blaine spent a great deal of time in the library. That's where he met Ace. Lucky for him, too. Not that Blaine was stupid, or anything, but he would have moved a lot slower without Ace's assistance. Eventually, he fell in love with with the little naiad.
So, he had things to do now. He had to teach his son about his heritage and how to master his dragon abilities (which for some ungodly reason his mother had kept hidden from him). He tried to help Alec manage their world, and at the end of it all, still found a bit of time to spend with Ace. And eat and sleep, also very important.
Personality: Of the four siblings, Blaine is the most easy-going. He's more likely to see the golden lining of a situation, and is usually smiling. He's also got a little more class than Damon and Christian, even though his clothes don't really express that (they rip apart when he shifts anyway). He tends to handle matters in the most gentle fashion possible, and tries to make sure all parties involved can come to an agreeable compromise. In a crisis, he can take charge and give orders, but is generally reluctant to make any sacrifices, so sometimes his plans are a little faulty.
Occupation: The second ranking king of Iontach.

Likes: Fish, heights, the earth, his glass menagerie (a room full of many glass trinkets), anything that shines, and of course his family.
Dislikes: Thunder, lightning, the cold, cruelty, dull colors, and too spicy foods.

~(Abilities)~
Shifter: It should be obvious enough that Blaine can shift between dragon and human forms. He also has a hybrid form, where his wings, horns, claws, and tail accompany his (mostly) human-looking body.
Telepathy: In a sense. Blaine can only project his thoughts onto others at his discretion. He can't read minds, or anything of the like. So others do actually have to speak to him.
Earth-Based Magics: Blaine was born an earth-dragon. So even though he can't breath fire, he can control well, earth. That includes rock, soil, gems, and some metals. He can't create earth from nothing though, so being stuck in the middle of an ocean wouldn't benefit him. He doesn't do an extensive amount of fighting, but he does play a bit of defense. Usually for Christian.
Charms: His djinn magic also allow him to do simple charms. He's better at casting magic on an object, and not on something living. So he mostly works protection or good luck spells on little trinkets for people to wear.
