Things were really beginning to pick up in Nyx Village. We traded huts for cabins, got a showering system, and even started our own "mall" like area; including a doctor and dental office. But being the stubborn mule Alex tends to be, he insisted that we find him some sort of pier or tong material so he can stop pulling teeth with his hands. Our new mission than began as we begun our search for black smithing material. Kiera, Alejandra, Tyler, Katie, Lisa, Synova, Jenny, and Miranda had searched high and low, when they agreed to search deeper into the monkey palace. All seemed well as they split into search parties and roamed the rocky walls. That was, until Tyler and Katie came across a hidden room with a mysterious mirror inside. Before they could investigate they were frightened by a spider and pretty much ran for the hills. Where did the mirror come from? Does it do anything special? Or is all of this a waste of time?

(INSIDE THE MONKEY PALACE)
*TYLER AND KATIE RUNS SCREAMING DOWN THEIR HALLWAY*
(HALL TWO)
Alejandra: "Oh great. What is it now?"
Synova: "Alejandra, you're a witness! Whatever it is isn't my fault this time!"
(HALL THREE)
Kiera: "Sounds like someones in trouble."
Miranda: "Eh."
Kiera: "Shouldn't we go help them?"
Miranda: "Yeah, yeah sure, after we're done looking."
(HALL FOUR)
Jenny: "Ugh, what did Synova do this time?"
Lisa: "I don't think it was Synova. It was probably Tyler since one of those screams sounds boy-ish"
Jenny: "Then it is most defiantly Synova."
Lisa: "Ooo ouch."
*JENNY LAUGHS*

Alejandra and Synova began running down their hallway towards the large center chamber the group had originally split up at, while Katie and Tyler continued to rush down theirs. But I suppose they didn't remember that when two things are heading towards the same place at around the same speed, eventually they collide. Within three minutes Alejandra rammed into Katie, who fell on top of each other, followed by Tyler who tripped over the two, and Synova, who was pulled down with him. It was a sad looking dog pile.

(HALL THREE)
*ALEJANDRA GROANS AND SYNOVA SCREAMS*
Kiera: "Come on Miranda, they sound like they're seriously hurt!"
Miranda: "Oh fine."
(HALL FOUR)
*JENNY HEARS SYNOVA SCREAM*
Jenny: "Oh great, now Tyler is in trouble."
*LISA CHUCKLES*
Jenny: "Shall we?"
*JENNY POINTS DOWN THE HALL TOWARDS THE CENTER CHAMBER*
Lisa: "We shall."

Jenny and Lisa held hands and began running down the hallway, wondering what they'd find. Were monkeys attacking? Were they screaming of joy due to finding what they came for? Did something collapse? Was anyone seriously hurt?

*JENNY AND LISA RUN DOWN THE HALL*
Lisa: "Hey Jenny, do you see that?"
Jenny: "Yeah...it looks like a big lump."
Lisa: "That wasn't there before, was it?"
Jenny: "N-Nooo...!"
*JENNY AND LISA RUN INTO THE DOG PILE AND TRIP INTO IT AND MIRANDA AND KIERA APPROACH*
Miranda: "Your telling me we came all the way back just to see our friends in a pile of themselves?"
Kiera: "Well someone could have been hurt. But why are you guys in a pile?"
Alejandra: "Ask...them..."
*ALEJANDRA POINTS TO TYLER AND KATIE ON TOP OF HER STOMACH*
Tyler: "We found something!"
Miranda: "Was it black smithing material?!"
Katie: "Ugh....no...."
Synova: "Is it a way off the island?!?!"
Tyler: "Well...no..."
Lisa: "Is it a village of savages that need a princess?!"
Katie: "No...wait, what the heck?"
Alejandra: "Then what is it?"
Tyler: "A mirror!"
Miranda: "You're telling us, that all this noise is over a stupid mirror? You know you can see your reflection in the water right? A mirror isn't all that exciting."
Katie: "But this mirror is different."
Jenny: "How so?"
Synova: "Is it like the one from Snow White that tells you whose the fairest of them all?"
Tyler: "I don't think so."
Kiera: "Does it show you anything you ask it to?"
Katie: "Probably not..."
Miranda: "Does it have a television built inside of it?"
Tyler: "That'd be awesome if it did!"
Lisa: "I take that as a no."
Alejandra: "If it doesn't do anything enchanting and it isn't electronic, what makes it so special?"
Katie: "It has a mysterious statement engraved in the boarder of it. Unlike any mirror I've ever seen."
Lisa: "So it's just pretty?"
Jenny: "No offense you guys, but beauty isn't worth much here right now. If it were I don't think we'd be wearing thin cloth and coconuts from Keila's store."
Tyler: "No you guys, we're serious. You should at least take a look at this mirror. There's something different about it, I can just feel it."
Kiera: "Then take us to it."
Katie: "Oh...umm...well...about that...we can't."
Tyler: "There's a huge Godzilla, man eating spider back there."
Katie: "Okay now he's just being dramatic. But there is a big spider back there."
Synova: "I'll catch it."
Lisa: "With those little hands?"
Jenny: "Well just how big was it?"
Tyler: "At least the size of my fist."
Alejandra: "Than lets face it Synova, its brave of you to offer, but Tyler's fist is bigger than your hand. The spider could easily bite, and if it were poisonous, one of us would have to try to suck out the poison. Sadly none of us would know how, and even if we could make it back to the village, I highly doubt Braulio wants to suck liquid death from your hands."
Miranda: "Okay, but if they do insist we see, than we should just come back later. In the few hours the spider should be out of the way. Until then we just continue the search."
Kiera: "Yeah, I don't think everyone else would be pleased if we came back without the material just because a quote 'different mirror' may have been found."
Synova: "Than its settled. Search now, look later."
Lisa: "Now lets get back to work."
Alejandra: "Starting with everyone getting off me!"

Too afraid to go back down their hall, Tyler and Katie continued their search around the large chamber and around the outside of the monkey castle. While everyone else went back to their paths. None of them knowing what was going on, on the other side of that mirror...For within the mirror hid a magic unlike any other we had found on Dreamer's Land. Possibly better than the galactic powers Keith found around Halloween. This was indeed different. Those who fell into its grasp rarely came back from the lack of knowing how. But where did this power go? What did it do? Who did it serve? We didn't know yet. But we would soon find out...
