Personality: Celestia is very sweet, kind, and friendly. She's open and honest with those she is close to. She's a bit shy around strangers. She's a hard worker and tries her best to please those around her. Celestia is pretty girlie and quite graceful. She finds all sorts of insect repulsive. She's scared of snakes and spiders. Due to the life she has had, Celestia finds it a little hard to relax and have fun, although she's not uptight.

Physical Appearance
Height: 5 ft
Hair: Very long (falls to her calves), white with warm undertones( see ref). Hair spits around the middle of her back into two different sections (kind of like an upside down v). A lock of hair drapes over her right shoulder, it ends right above her ribcage. Long bangs sweep right across her forehead beneath the lock of hair and tucked behind her ear. The lock of hair on the left side of her face falls to about midway down her neck.
Eyes: Sea Green
Body Slender yet curvy body, small to medium sized chest (about a b cup)
Skin: Very pale, she's usually has a slight pink flush to her cheeks and her lips are naturally pinkish
Clothing: Celestia wears mostly white and a light blue. She sews most of her clothes herself. She loves lace and silk and one of her hobbies is embroidery. It shows up a lot in the clothes she makes. ( Celestia really doesn't have a set wardrobe. If you wish to draw her you can make something up or draw her in one of the outfits she is wearing in the reference pictures. The style of clothing should be a mix of elvish and a slightly more modern medieval style. Feel free to experiment with what that means. )
History: Celestia was born to a very poor woman. She made what little money she could by selling herself on the streets to any takers. Celestia has never met her father because of this. Her mother doesn't even know who he was, although the fact that Celestia is a halfling alludes to her father being elven. Halfling are looked down upon because it's pretty taboo for an elf to mate with a human. Celestia's mother was disgusted with her daughter and usually left her with a friend or neighbors so she wouldn't have to deal with her. When Celestia was with her neighbor she learned how to cook, sew and garden. When Celestia was around 10 years old her mother simply disappeared. She soon found herself living on the streets. She was caught by a slave trader and sold to a woman who runs a tavern in Sacred City.
Celestia lived and worked at the tavern. She was expected to cook and clean and serve customers during peak hours. While living with Mama, as she insisted on being called, Celestia learned math and how to read. She helped Mama discover that some of the serving wenches were stealing from her. Celestia was put in charge of bookkeeping and was able to earn a very small wage. She saved ever penny she could so that one day she would be able to buy her freedom.
When Celestia turned 14 she was expected to enter into Mama's training program. A program Mama made to teach her young slaves to become the best prostitutes in the land. Celestia was exceptionally beautiful and Mama had already received very tempting offers, but Celestia refused. She would not be her mother. Having doubled the profits that Mama once received Celestia bartered for her freedom.
Newly free and with no place to call home, and not a penny to her name Celestia started living on the streets of Sacred City. She finds that the fountain in the center of the castle plaza is her favorite place. It is here that she meets Arkin. Arkin is a member of the White Guard. She comes to admire his generosity and sense of justice. When Arkin finds out that Celestia is homeless he insists that she comes to live with him and his father. At first she refuses because she doesn't want to intrude and has no money to pay them. Arkin's father gladly accepts her into his home. She takes it upon her self to cook and clean for them. Celestia feels bad when they try to buy her things. So she begins to look for a job. She finds that many people won't hire her because of her race. Arkin helps Celestia obtain a job at Sacred Castle as a maid. There she unlocks many of it's hidden secrets, including her past and future destiny.
Other Info: Although, Celestia has led a rough life she tries her best to not let it bring her down. She never tries to play the victim and constantly seeks to repay those who have helped her out.
She takes pride in hard work and simple chores such as cooking and cleaning.
She's good with numbers which makes her an excellent bookkeeper.
Her most prized possession is a beautifully detailed silver vanity set that includes a hand held mirror, comb and brush. Arkin bought it for her as a gift after he saw she was admiring it in a shop.
Arkin teaches her how to use a bow.
Rachel is her boss and once worked for Mama. She sees a lot of her own hard work and determination in Celestia and takes her under wing.
Celestia loves to mend the maid's uniforms and even design a new version for balls.
