The story:
High school "exorcists" who either love, hate, or don't care about killing the spirits and zombies arising after Halloween's failure of a scare plan. They created SCYTHE, a small band of students who were trained by their grandparents to exorcise malevolent spirits by whatever means necessary. They don't necessarily like each other, but it's High School, go figure.
The malevolence is caused by SOUL, a few mediums who have nothing better to do other than turn ghosts, zombies, and fellow classmates into their puppets. They constantly try to defeat SCYTHE, feeling that an age of the undead will bring more to the world than defeating the skeletons in the closet.
The Cast:
SCYTHE (The Exorcists, each letter is someone's name.)
SOUL. (Those who revive what goes "bump" after Halloween. Same name style as above.)
Teachers (We need people to beat up on the students afterall.)
Classmates (To beat up on, to have beat up, to keep the story alive.)
The purpose:
National Novel Writer's Month. Why kill myself in November to write 50k words? Why not?
