Okay, so this has been on my mind a lot, but before we start I have to say something. I hate writing because you have to be all grammatical and I like making up words and I fail at spelling. It all fails so it will all be like a run on sentence, or at least it would be but I'm having my friend Evil Black Swan proof read and correct everything for me. Okay, let's get started.

Domestic Abuse: This is something that you see all the time. It may not be happening to you, but a friend, sister, cousin, mom or even your daughter but this is just something I cannot grasp. Why do women put themselves and their children through this? To all of those that know someone who is in this situation, speak up before they end up pissing him off for the LAST time! Seriously, why is it they stay with the guy? Because the whole, "He loves me", or "He's just having a bad day". I'm sorry, but how is "Let me beat on you" one day, "Oh baby, I love you" the next. No he doesn't love you! He loves beating on you and he doesn't want you to leave because that means that he has to go out and find a new girl, get her to like him, trust him and then finally BAM, he beats on her. He gets her to think that there isn't anything she can do because no body will want her.

Ugh! And the line, "Oh my child needs a father!" Now THAT is a bunch of bullshit! They may need a father but, A) He can be a father and live elsewhere or B) She can find a new man. A better man. A man that won't beat her in front of the children. A man who actually loves her and her children, a man who won't hit your children, period. A man who isn't a drunken b*****d. But no, these woman stay with said b*****d. Her sons grow up thinking its okay to beat on women. Girls are traumatized and act out growing up thinking it's okay for her man to beat on her. Why, why, why?

I have a friend who's man does this. We'll call her Kira. Now one night, Kira was drinking. I drop her off at home and come to find out the next day that she had awoken to who we'll call Brad beating her. She got him off of her, grabbed her 16 month old and tried to leave. Brad tried ripping the baby out of her hands so he could beat on her some more. She finally got out the door, no shoes, only the baby. Now stuff happens to Brad and yet Kira still goes back. Her excuses? "Oh, he was stressed. He's just so depressed, no job." You know what Brad? Get off your lazy a**, get a damn job, or better yet put the damn video game down!

Now, I have nothing against video gamers, far from it. My man is a gamer. He plays, but my man also can hold a job and go to school and play video games. So I guess I'm all ranted out for now, but seriously. Can someone enlighten me as to why women stay? Because I have tried to figure it out and I can't. I'd rather be a single parent than with some one who hits. If a guy raises his hand to me he either gets help or my a** is gone. So yeah...
