I can't believe you have been gone for such a short time, and how no one cared but mom and me. I miss you and I'll always miss you cause you were my role model and the one who told me to reach for my dreams and never hold back. You also helped me through my hard times and loved me even when I was just a trouble maker. Even though I hated moving a lot, I also loved that we were able to travel together. When you were gone I broke down and I felt hopeless and I wanted to give up, but with my friends and the words and memories you left me I pulled through and am the man I am today. Dad all I want to say is that I love you and wish you were still here so I could hug you and show you how much I care. I'm sad that it took till you were gone to realize that I haven't shown how much I loved you in a while. Well I'll be seeing you soon and hopefully you will still listen to my annoying old stories and....stay with me forever.
I wrote this in memory of my Dad: Nickolas Andrew Rhoads, the man who raised me. Also the man who brought joy to all those around him and gave me everything I needed in life. He died with a smile on his face, so I know he was truly happy.
