Background: Vicarious was born under a diffrent name, which he thinks is a whole diffrent person. When he was 22 and just starting to hunt supernatural things, he sold his soul to a demon to rescue somebody from hell, but in exchange went to hell. There it was 40 years, but on earth it was 4 years. Hes a diffrent person, and Vicarious was a nickname one of the demons gave him in hell. Since then, he has been hunting things.
Vicarious means living through someone else, and Vicarious himself doesnt think hes living through somebody, but that the souls of the innocent are through him. Its what keeps him fighting everyday. In hell, he would take the torture away from other people, causing him to be tortured thousands of times in an hour.
