Souls of Kombat

Prologue 1: Mortal Kombat
Shao Kahn growls sitting on his throne in the arena watching two Earthrealm warriors face off in Kombat. IT was quite boring... that damn Thunder god Raiden. After his invasion of Earthrealm the god managed to weaken the emporer of outworld, keeping him from doing anymore invasions... he needed something... a plan... a weapon. Shang Tsung mention that he had sensed a bizzare power and began to look into it.

"My lord... I've found it." The sorcerer said walking up to his master.

Without a word, Shao Kahn followed Tsung into an area of his castle where an image of two swords were being shown.

"This is the cause of the power I've been sensing." Shang Tsung informed him and pointed at one blade which seemed to seethe with evil and almost seemed Organic "That is the Soul Edge." He then pointed towards a sword that seemed more holy and was made of crystals "And that is Soul Calibur. Apart they are mortal enemies... but imagine if we can get both swords... Earthrealm, Edenia, Netherrealm, Seido... they'll all be ours."

"Heheheheh... HAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA! So be it! Get the necromancer Quan Chi, and our best warriors! We'll hunt these swords down! LONG LIVE OUTWORLD!" Shao Kahn cackeled as Shang Tsung opened a portal to the nether realm to find Quan Chi.

Meanwhile in the temple of Raiden.

The thunder god senses a disturbance... an outworld disturbance. After finding out what had happened his summoned the defenders of light to the temple.

"Raiden what is the matter?" Liu Kang asked.

"Yeah man jeez I was enjoyin' a nap bro." A voice said as Raiden turned to see a teenager donned in a mix of urban and shaolin clothes. Jake.

"Jake... I see you're doing well? This is a chance to put the skills Liu Kang has taught you into good use." Raiden mentioned as he began to explain "Shao Kahn has invaded another world... my belief is that he is after something that can jeaprodize Earthrealm. I am sending you all to this world to stop them at any cost."

"But what is their after?" The Lin Keui grandmaster, Sub Zero, questioned.

"All I know is... Two Sword..." Raiden stated before opening the portal "We must be haste."

"Alright sweet!" Jake grinned as they ran into the portal "Let's do this! MORTAL KOMBAT!"
