Clothing/Armour: Leather Coat - Hooded, Sleeveless, and reaching down to the wearers thighs where the end of the coat tails stop. Made from the hide of
another Karonian (not uncommon - deceased family members' flesh is thought to hold the spirit of the dead and offered protection as well as enhancement
of ones abilities). Churls coat is made from his mothers' body, an excellent and fearsome practioner, marked with tattoos and scarification that
seethe with energy.
Leather Vest - Sleevless and decorated with small loops and pockets to hold potions as well as special component requirements of spells. Made
from the hide of a komododragon varient, black and tough it serves well to protect and conceal in poorly lit conditions.
Karonian: Much like the Drow of elves, the Karonians are a race of exiled humans to deeps of the world. Humans that were transformed by their
obsession with dark magic, twisted by hours of intense labour over perverted rites, incantations and gluttony for power. Taking refuge
on the outskirts of a great city, now lost to the desert, the order of cultists contiued their work with the otherwordly powers.
Generations passed with the sanctuary that housed them and their dealings with ancient creatures, corrupting their bodies taking on a
more reptilian appearance. Skin grew to scales, blood cold, and eyes slitting to pierce the blackness around them.
Culture: At a young age, a member of Karon is taken from its parents and put into rigorous study and practice. While the child becomes educated
in the ways of the Matlithae the adults venture further to empower their abilities. A pilgrimage either into the unknown dimension their masters
inhabit or unto the world that shunned them into seclusion. Most choose the way that was most familiar, to their teachers, seeking more power
and uncover the secrets that were held behind the Cowl. The Cowl is the gateway between the world of Man, Elves, Dwarves and the creatures
of Oddity.
Oddity: Home and Ruled by the Malithae.
The Malithae: Dominant denizens of Oddity, the enigmatic Malithae are the source of Karonian power. It's unknown from where the Malithae originated
or how it was that they became the reigning force amidst the many formidable beings behind the Cowl.
