Massive wall of text ahead. I don't blame you if you don't want to read this. This dream has refrences to Gurren Lagann, Soul Eater, Tron, and to Jojo's Bizarre Adventure.
You have been warned.
I was on a boat, heading towards a man made island off the coast of Japan. It was far out enough that it was in international waters, meaning certain laws did not apply. On this island, was an institution, for people to learn genetic engineering and modification. I went for wanting to expand my knowledge on the subject, as well as making my own chimeras. We finally reach the docks and we all unload our stuff and drop them off at our appropriate rooms. We go the square for the orientation and to get our uniforms. One odd thing we received was a glove, handed out to all of the males. Its a simple white glove, but on the back of it, there was a blue gem. So the orientation is over and we are allowed to go back to our dorms and rest up for tomorrow.
The next day, I notice some fighting going on between the guys in the school. And they're all using weapons. I figure its no big deal, so I just continue on my way going from class to class. I ask around about the fighting and it turns out, its a game... Sort of. The way it works is this, the males choose a girl, any girl. Once he chose one, he is the girl's master. Now the weapons, are a representation of the girl's soul. In order to pull out the soul, they must use the glove that they were given. Now if they lose, they lose the girl. There is no limit to how many the can "own". As for the weapon, every chip, every impact, every shot, it hurts the girl. As for the guys, whenever a weapon lands on him, it'll hurt a lot. The pain has been amplified so the matches won't last too long. I just thought, ok thats cool, but chose not to take part in it. So a couple of weeks pass and this game got serious. Now the males are treating the women like objects, and gathering their own personal harem, so to speak. Still, I took no part of it. So, while walking to one of my classes, I spot someone yelling at a girl, beating her, telling her she's weak and worthless because of the weapon, which happened to be a small dirk. In a massive fit of rage, he broke it completely. They girl shrieked, and fell down unconscious. After she let out her scream, I got enraged at the idiot. So without thinking I charged and punched him right across the face as hard as I can. As soon as I did that I got ambushed by several other people and brought me down with their fists and whatever weapon they had. So I passed out. Whoo.
I woke up in the nurse's office a few hours later, covered in cuts and bruises from the people who jumped me. It wasn't long until a girl came into the room. She walked up to my bed and asked how to get to the office since she was lost. So I told her and was thankful. She asked about my wounds and so I told her how i got them. We the introduced each other and she was named Fay-???. I couldn't quite get that last part ( in b4 someone says it's Litchi Fay-Ling). Also learned she was from China. So we talk a bit and once I told her about the game that's played, she was shocked. She didn't like that the girls had no rights in this school. I asked if she has been claimed yet. She hasn't. Turns out she just transferred to the school. I told her I didn't like what was going on and she was disgusted by the males hoarding and gathering the girls up. I told her I want to help them and she does too. So I asked her if she wants to work together to free the girls. She says yes and then I tell in order for that to happen, I would have to be Her master. She says yes, much
To my surprise. So with her consent I put on my jeweled glove on and reach "inside" her and I pulled out her soul. It was in the shape of a kite shield, long enough to cover my head down to my knees, and had a decent sized spike. At first I was disappointed. But almost immediately I realized this was a unique weapon. It was a defensive weapon. Everyone else had offensive weapons, which made this into my favor. With a great smile, I told her was proud to be her master and we had a great chance to liberating all the girls in the school. So I got up feeling pretty sore, but I didn't mind I all. So we walk out of the room so I can take her to the office. Along the way I see this idiot mistreating his female companion. Fay and I got angry and without hesitation, I shouted " I challange you to a duel!" he got up and pulled the soul of the girl he was abusing. Fay was at the ready knew she was gonna feel pain. So I took out her soul and went into the defensive position. Of course the guy laughed at me, since he was wielding a a set of claws and I had a shield. While he was in the middle of his laugh I charged at him as fast as I can with me shield in front. Bam! The enemy staggers for a bit. The shield was vibrating quite a bit, so I looked at Fay. She winced from the impact but yelled at me to keep going. While looking at my companion, I feel a hard strike on the shield. I see Fay scream in pain and watch her fall to her knees. I turn quickly and I dodge another strike. I'm pissed at this point. So I give him another bash, this time making sure the spike nailed him in the chest. As I did, I noticed the spike got longer and thinner. Not questioning what's going on, I took the time to land several good blows on his face. He submitted. With that, I'm now the master of the girl who used to fight me in battle. She, of course, was a bit nervous, walks up to me and we have a conversation.
"you're my master now"
" I know, you're free to do what you want to do now. Those are your orders"
"I, don't understand. I'm free?"
"Not technically. You still belong to me. But I'm letting you have your own free will at this point"
At this point she cries tears of joy and runs off. I go back to Fay and I see she's lying on the ground, curled up from the impacts the shield received. We talked about what happened with the spike and turns out she wanted to make sure he got hit. So we start investigating in the following days and liberating the other female students we encounter. Turns out if the girl is willing to fight, she can manipulate the weapon to make it more effective in battle, while keeping the general shape. So we fight, we save, and fight some more. Through my journey of fighting, I encountered various weapons. People used the standard weapons: b*****d sword, axes, daggers, warhammers, to the exotic. Such as Cat o' Nine Tails, exotic claws, kamas to ranged weapons, such as rifles, magnums, and bow and arrows.
Fast forward several months. I have now liberated almost all of the girls in the school. There was only a few girls left to save and they were held by the student body president. So I make my to find him. He ended up finding me and challenged me. Without saying anything, I pulled my weapon out of Fay and took the defensive position. He reached out for one of the girls who was smiling, clinging to him. It was a goddamn minigun. At this point I just say holy s**t tell her to brace herself as I duck behind the shield. The gun spins and finally starts spitting hundreds of bullets at me. The shield ends up block the bullets, but I hear Fay scream. It was a sickening noise. I turn to see her already on the ground, writhing, and screaming. It gotten to the point her screams quieted a little and she started to claw at her throat. I roll out of the way trying to avoid the bullets. The second she finally breathes, the poor girl vomits from the intense pain. She shouts not to worry about her and concentrate on winning the fight. I keep running and he finally has me pinned down, under all those bullets. I raise the shield and and start hearing her cries. I couldn't go anywhere. I noticed the shield is starting to crack. It turns out the girl made the minigun fire in a literal straight line of bullets. They wanted to "cut" the shield in half with the bullets. After a few moments, they succeeded. About a third of the way down, right where the spike forms, the shield broke. Surprised, the shield didn't fade. Fay was still conscious. I shout to tell her to make another handle appear on the portion that broke off. She did and put a spike on that as well. Finally, I had enough. I start moving towards the enemy. Once I get close I shout to Fay. She made the spike extend into the minigun. The in started turning very quickly. I charge and I shatter the minigun with my drill shield. The girl cried in pain and fell to the ground. I pierce the guy in the head. I use the other shield and stab him in the chest. Both spikes start drilling into him in two differnt directions. With this chance, I shout " I challenge you to a duel" 7 more times, in a row. Each time he cries he submits. I kick him off of my now drill shields and watch him fall. I run to Fay and she has passed out because of the immense pain she suffered in he fight. So I take the poor thing to her room and tend to her until she was better, which took about 3-4 weeks.
Fast forward a week later. I'm in class and I hear my name as well as Fay. So I make my way to the auditorium. I meet Fay who was already there and we enter. It was empty. Having already freed all the girls, we had no idea what to expect. So we walk up to and get on the stage. It suddenly starts moving down. We stay close and I pull out my shield from Fay. It's different. It was still shape as a kite, but it was wider and had three spikes. Behind it had two straps. I pulled it apart and put them on both of arms. Each half had a spike and a half, which when put together, it will form a giant spike in the middle. So I told Fay to hop onto my back so she can keep up and I can protect her better. So we start walking down the hallway, all covered in black and neon colored stripes illuminated the area. We reach to another area and it was literally like a small city, with neon stripes on the edges of the buildings, lighting up the town. Just there was no signs of life. So I keep making our way through, until I heard steps, lots of them. I see these things, couldn't tell what they were because it was so dark. So I just screw it and just charged in, trying to get to where they flooding out. Left and right, I just shield bash the creatures, plowing through them. After several minutes of struggling, I manage to get to where they were coming from, with Fay starting to feel the effects of the impacts. I just keep running through the hallway and finally reach the end. It was dark, I couldn't see anything except the glow behind me from the neon lights. The door slams, and now its dark. I can't see anything at all. Then a pair of lights being to shine, about 40, 45 feet up, 50-60 feet away from me. The place begins to light up in a neon blue color thanks to the lines that appear all over the walls and ceiling. It was a giant mech, and it looked like metal gear rex, with some modifications. All of the sudden the damn thing starts talking to me, explaining the game. I forgot what it said, all I knew is that I had to destroy it in order for this to truly end. So I challenged it. Fay is still on my back. I tell her to get off and go hide in a corner to stay out of the crossfire. So she does. The moment she gets off of my back, I see portions of its shoulder rise and I see something glint in the holes of every single one. Then every single one starts lighting up. Holy s**t their missiles. Not wanting to chance it, I just bolt out of that area, dodge and avoid the missiles. I can't let the the shields take a hit, because they'll shatter the shield. So I just run and run and run. Once the barrage was over, I stopped to catch my breath. All of a sudden, it started to open every single pod it had. Without thinking twice, I just start running and running, jumping, dodging, rolling out of way just not to get hit by the blasted missiles. I start seeing narrowed beams of light in front of me during the barrage. So I raise my left arm to block the deadly beam. I just keep this up for the longest time. Blocking lasers, bullets with the shield, while trying to avoid the missiles at the same time. Until it finally got smart and shot a missile ahead of me. That one sadly got me and knocked me to the side wall. I got up, but weakened from the blast. I just keep stumbling around around trying to dodge the last few missiles. Fay yells at me use the shield to protect myself. She said to join the shield and so I did. I put the halves together in front of me and began rushing, getting ready to avoid the next salvo. It begins firing the next set of missiles and I start weaving left and right to avoid the explosions. Again, I shot one right in front of me. This time I was ready for it. I dive forward and curl my body so I can be behind the shield. The missile explodes and I was already on top of it. The explosion propels me even further towards the mech. And I land at the feet of this mech. I smashed into the leg of this mech. I kept pushing and pushing until the shield started to change shape. It ended up as a giant drill and it started spinning on it's own. So I pushed again, and started to sink into the machine. I twisted and turned in the foot in I was able to point the drill straight up. I jumped and made my way up inside the leg of the mech, with the drill leading the way. I start to gain speed, causing massive amounts of damage along the way. I go through the thigh, through the center of the body of the mech, and go straight through the head of the mech. I emerge and the speed I was going sent me another 10 feet above the mech. From I curl up and the drill now go back to the shield that we started with. I land on the ground and of course I end up doing the WRYYYYYYYYYY! pose and i actually scream it too. The mech behind starts exploding and begins to fall. Fay was already at the entrance. So we bolt out, we make our way back to the lift and just as we do, the area we were just in, caves in. We nearly made it out. After a few minutes of waiting, a rope comes down for us. As we got out it was some of the girls we have rescued that got us out. Now that the institution is now pretty much ruined, everyone has started to pack. So Fay and I go back to our appropriate rooms and gather our belongings. Fay and I meet at the docks. We talk and Fay wants to come with me. So we go back home on the same boat. When we arrive, the US and China are at war, so we go into hiding until the entire thing is over.
And yes, it was that long. My dreams tend to be long and detailed for some reason. If you read this, good job. And the funny thing, i haven't watched Gurren Lagann or Soul Eater when I dreamed this. Freaking awesome.
