I see the Republican mainstream is really pulling out the stops on the crazy rhetoric. The latest claim is that health care reform is "worse than terrorism." Given that more people die every year in this country from lack of health care than have died from domestic terrorism in this country in my lifetime, I think the congresswoman has it backwards. From a loss of life and maiming perspective lack of universal health care is measurably much worse than terrorism. Of course, it has been pointed out how much money the insurance companies are paying her to disseminate the crazy.
