No, this is not a Red vs. Blue reference (although that episode was freakin' hilarious). I am referring to my own body, thank you. And boy, is it pissed at me.
Let me recap. Tuesday, I started a weight training class. Me and my friend Nico thought it would be a bright idea to ignore the instructor and do our own thing. So we decided to see how many reps of bench we could do, to sort of prove our toughness. I did 80 reps of 65 lbs. Nico did 78.
And that's when my living hell started. The next day, I awoke in some of the worst pain I have ever felt. I couldn't even lift my arms over my head. And, to make matters worse, my psychotic drill commander had us do "egg cartons" yesterday. This is a sadistic little workout where you point your left arm straight out at the guy ahead of you, and your right arm straight out at the person to the right of you (duh.). And you know something else? HE KEPT US IN THAT POSITION FOR FIFTEEN MINUTES.
So, yeah. Thank God it's Friday, 'cause I think my arms are gonna fall off if I don't take it easy.
