I've just received confirmation that my medical insurance ends on 10/31, two full months before I was expecting it to end, and a mere week and a day after my 25th birthday. I'm not really sure what to do now. I certainly can't have the spine surgery that my orthopedic surgeon wants me to have because following the surgery I would need at least a couple months to have MRIs and x-rays done to ensure that the fusion is happening properly. I could extend the insurance but it would cost hundreds of dollars each month..
