100 Questions [part 1]: Sebastian Hampshire Howards
Part 1: The Basics

1. What is your full name?
My full name is Sebastian Hampshire Howards.

2. Where and when were you born?
I was born in Aresia, a city in Machaire. My birthday is Amerzi 37th, which is during the late spring.

3. Who are/were your parents? (Know their names, occupations, personalities, etc.)
My dad and mom are Hampshire Howards and Linda Randall Howards, respectively. Dad is Dr. Howards. Most of his business comes from children and younger folks coming in for checkups. Mom is one of the receptionists - They aren't the only ones working at that office, you see. There's five other doctors there, and a whole team of nurses for the pediatric office alone at the hospital where they work. Mom and Dad are both really nice people, but Dad is the more laid-back of the two, hands down. He loves his job, but at the end of the day, doesn't care about number crunching. That's Mom's job, she's more organized than anyone else in the family. Except maybe me.

4. Do you have any siblings? What are/were they like?
I, being the lucky b*****d that I am (or so I've heard from my friends) have no siblings to speak of.

5. Where do you live now, and with whom? Describe the place and the person/people.
I am currently bunking with the 32nd company of the Medical division. It's pretty nice, we're established in Grida, which is a nice little village in Feldia. That's an island that's part of the Callisto system. We're sorta near the Kalet Isles. Well, that's where I am. Like I said a minute ago, I'm in the 32nd company of the Medical division. There's about 80 of us here, since some of the other Rangers have been assigned to serve with other companies for a month or two. I've been in this company for a while, so I only have to share a room with two other guys.

6. What is your occupation?
I'm a dentist. I wish my fellow Rangers were more enthusiastic about it. They all groan when I walk in the room with my face mask on. The bastards don't deserve the Novocaine.

7. Write a full physical description of yourself. You might want to consider factors such as: height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, and any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks.
Well... I'm average height I think, not quite six feet tall. Er... Five foot ten, maybe. 160 pounds, I guess? As for race, I'm human, which is actually pretty uncommon on Almatha. My skin is somewhat pale, so I do have to watch out for sunburns. My eyes are sort of a dull green, and I have black hair that used to be cut short and simple, but it's grown out a bit. I'm allowed to keep it that way though, as long as it's pulled back properly while practicing. That's difficult when you can't really tie your hair back either, so I'm know as "that guy with the headbands". I bought them from a village girl who sells ribbons and fabric and stuff. I'm usually wearing my Ranger uniform, which is a set of white scrubs. Most of the Medical staff doesn't wear red, you see. It's the same color as most blood and makes for sanitization issues. We're the envy of all the Rangers during the summer. I do, however, have a red and white jacket and white slacks that supposed to be worn to formal events.
I don't have any scars or distinguishing marks of the sort. Unless you count my infamous headband. I do have a tattoo though, my call code is in black ink on my left upper arm. You know, to identify my body and all in case of a gruesome accident of some sort.

8. To which social class do you belong?
Social class? I wouldn't say there's much of a class system that I'm aware of in Aresia... but I definitely think my family would be up there, since my parents are well-off as doctors. As a Ranger though, that's pretty much a social class. I'm an MD too - except for the part where everyone hates me because I'm a dentist.

9. Do you have any allergies, diseases, or other physical weaknesses?
Sadly, I am allergic to shellfish. Fish with fins are just fine, but shrimp is absolutely off limits.

10. Are you right- or left-handed?
Right-handed, but I learned to use my left hand better while in training. It helps to be able to work a drill and a surgeon's light at the same time.

11. What does your voice sound like?
.... Like a voice? It's not that deep, and it's not high either. And for all the talking I do, I actually speak rather quietly. I've been made fun of though, for my diction. Apparently higher education gives you a slight accent? I don't hear it though.

12. What words and/or phrases do you use very frequently?
"Um" and "eh". I'm not proud to say that I don't always think all the way ahead before talking.

13. What do you have in your pockets?
My wallet, my Ranger ID card, some spare change, a coupon for Salty Sam's Sandwich Stall, my pocketknife, and an old dental pick that's been surprisingly useful after retirement.

14. Do you have any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?
I've been yelled out for drawing my sentences out and not getting to the point quick enough. People also say I'm obsessed with my job. I'm not really, just a strong advocate for dental health. It's a great contributing factor to our overall health you know, and I believe you can tell some interesting things about a man by examining his mouth.
