Personal History: Mitako was raised by Sailor Saturn on the planet Saturn. Her parents were two of Hotaru's most faithful servants who worked in the castle. When Mitako was a little girl, she would sit out on the balcony at night and gaze out at the stars. Each time she tried asking Saturn about her parents, Saturn would only give but one reply. "You will know when the time is right, my dear goddaughter."
Mitako was a bit disappointed at Saturn's response as tears started to spill from her starry blue eyes. Saturn picked her up and gently cradled Mitako in her arms. Mitako wrapped her little arms around Saturn's neck in a hug. Saturn smiled sadly as she carried little Mitako out onto the balcony of the castle. She then put Mitako down as she sat down and stared at the stars. "Look at the sky Mi-chan, what do you see?" she asked the small girl with light starry blue hair. Mitako held onto Saturn's hand with her own small hands and looked up towards the heavens. "I see little lights all over." Mitako responded. "Yes, those are the stars. They are very important in many ways." Saturn said happily."Like guiding people home?" Mitako asked in reply. "Yes dear child." Saturn said as she smiled at her goddaughter.
Saturn had left after saying good night, leaving Mitako on the balcony alone. She sat there still staring at the stars. "I want to see my mommy and daddy." she said as fresh tears began to spill from her eyes. She buried her face in her hands and cried, wishing she knew what happened to her parents.
