My commentating is interrupted by the grief stricken approach of eaTaiaG the hardened asian man who manages the GGW softball team.
"Martial, we may need you to play." he says, I look at him taken aback by his words.
"really?" I ask
"Bronstahd isn't here and until he gets here we need one more player" he replied. I watched as he hurried back to the team in the dugout. Confident that Bronstahd would make his appearance soon, I began my Commentary as Siskataya made a call to our missing star... to no avail. Minutes later...
"So you'll be playing catcher but without a glove, so we'll see what happens" said eaTaiaG."
"What!" came my reply.
"We can't find one for you, so you'll have to play without one." said eaTaiaG and with that the GGW team took to the field with me joining them...slowly.
...Ok so maybe not exactly like that, but pretty dang close. Anyway a glove was found for me to use and instead of playing catcher I played right field. So with that I spent the rest of the game both playing and commenting, which was quite exhausting but also a blast.
On the Sponsorship front I worked on and released the most recent Venus, Sour Patch and Spectrobes sponsors. Spectrobes was very last minute...as in assigned to me yesterday last minute, haha but as with most sponsors it was fun to work on.
Some interesting news and definitely new for me, I'll be working on the next event. We plan to start doing mini events (which we may or may not continue to do depending on how it goes) and it will be starting soon. As a mini event it won't be on a large scale like the Summer Event but all the same I'm trying to throw in hidden gameplay that I hope will make it a bit more fun.
I shall now leave and let you all ponder my words. If you want to see the baseball game, you can see the saved webcam footage of it here: Gaians Gone Wild
There's a surprise announcement near the end if you so choose to watch it all the way through...or you can be a spoil sport and just skip to the end.
