So we're working on a temporary but new forums landing page - the thread and mocks can be found here. I'm really excited as we tackle the forums, and have another thread asking for feedback on what you like/don't like about forums, so please post here 
Its going to be a long road, but I know the journey will make it worth while - we'll have improved forums I'm also working on new forums categories (that will also be mirrored to guilds), and announced 3 new guild categories this week: LGBT, Religion & Morality and Sports. So if you own/captain/VC a guild that falls into one of those categories, you can change your category by going into moderator panel-->edit guild settings. We'll be announcing more as we move through the re-categorization process - and I even have a feedback thread for that here. its been a busy, busy week!
For those living under a rock, we also launched the new navigation. I can't believe that it has over 315 pages of feedback (that's 4700+ posts) in less than an hour! My colleague, gracewar7, did an amazing job wrangling this project and is pouring through the comments, I'm sure
