Penguins Rule
[short story in progress] "Blood of a Winter Rose"
Walking slowly through a wooded area. A crack is heard from below her foot. She jumps. Beneath the snow lay a bundle of cracked sticks. A single color stands out to her within all of the whites, browns, and greens. Red. A single petal laying there innocently. She picks it up to examine. She thinks to herself how odd of a situation this is. "Why is there a single Red Rose petal in the middle of no where?" What is she doing walking here by herself in the first place? So we go to her place in the village five miles away.
A picture is shown of a young girl. Approximately sixteen years of age. Nobody has ever heard of her. Why is this? Is she just as simple as a past spirit?
