So it was a normal day in the life of a king
Strolling through his palace and enjoying the things;
That he worked so hard for, that he fought for with his life
Until his heart began aching and he wondered to himself why?
With everything he could imagine, why did he pain?
Why is his heart trying to rebel against everything he's gained?
He thought that he was happy, that his life had become perfect
Yet he still remembers the day, that he spent with her highness...
She wasn't really a queen, just of another culture
In his mind she was perfect, even more in her slumber
He kept his thoughts free, to keep her image in his mind
Simple as a flower, yet as beautiful as the sky
He lost his focus and all his treasures disappeared
The world became faded and with it, everything he feared
What was so powerful? To destroy all bounds?
Was it the beauty of this girl? Or the love that conquers all?
Living life on the bad side, fighting against all good
Was the story of the king, a brave soldier, a complicated book
Her image stayed with him, until the end of time
Eating up from within, a man so powerful, became so kind
Once believing in no justice for the mortal
No mercy towards the good
She changed his entire lifestyle
Living carefree and reckless, he no longer could.
No more victories for himself
He now fought for 2 people
That day she told him "I love you"
Is the day when they became equal.
