She never met her father; he disappeared just before she was born. She and her mother lived by themselves for a long time. When she was 14 her mother met a man and started dating him. They eventually married and moved in together (along with his spoiled 10-year-old daughter) and Inari didn’t like either of them. She moved out of their house and into a small apartment of her own, and gets by with the help of relatives and by working when she can.
