"I woke up, and I just hated everything~!"
So, some of you may have noticed that I've sold pretty much everything I owned. Again.
Am I "leaving Gaia" again? I dunno! Everytime I sell stuff or make a contest I find a lot of actually nifty people to talk to that make me not want to leave entirely. So, I've come to a conclusion. I'm leaving, yet never entirely leaving, gaia.Yes, I honestly hate this place. I hate it's economy, I hate how whenever I have enough to commission the artists I want they either are always closed and I can never get a spot or they have yet again raised their prizes (I understand completely being paid for your time, but aren't you overdoing it? Why not keep same prizes and take less of a workload instead? You're always closed anyway.), and I hate I can't make gold the way I want to, and the unfairness to users abroad who have no CC or other means to get Gaia cash or donation items or so, and can't even have it debited from their phone because they're abroad. I hate how I can't invest for s**t and can't sell my own art because I suck at advertizing (my own fault here, but I can still hate it). I even hate the way every time something comes out, it's cash based, and when you complain, most people complain back that it's your right not to buy it- the problem is, I can afford it and want to buy it! They just make it impossible!
In brief, I hate it all. And I shouldn't. Gaia is a place to have fun, right? And I don't, unless I'm making contests, or chatting with friends.
The pixels and items aren't badly looking, some are really nice, and it's the second pretties avatar site I've seen; but they're not the best, either.
So instead of "leaving forever", I will stay, I will check now and again, I will talk with friends, and when I can, I will purchase things, try to invest, I probably won't be making much threads myself, try to stick with as few as I can, freebie here, contest when able to, and unless you link me to them, I may not have the time to find your threads.
DO PM ME! Even if I don't PM for a while, if I get a PM I will write back ASAP!
I just want to have fun on here again, rather than hate everything. I want to go back to 2003, when stuff were still fun, when donating was because you wanted to support gaia, not because you wanted to look awesome or the latest cool item for your list, and when you could move event items from your mules to your main or from your first account to the new one.
I'm not sure I even want to play zOMG anymore, it's not that entertaining, but I guess, casually, every now and again... so I may keep the stuff from it, just in case.
Well, that's that I guess, my long rant over nothing. I'm leaving forever! )to return again tomorrow
