Chapter 3 : Adam's Song
Alex and Stray Alex sat in his room writing lyrics then singing and playing them. "As the darkness embraces me in it's bitter touch,
I loose sight of who I am.
All the memories of my past come alive,
whispering my name time and time again.
I am slowly decaying within,
This smile is a lie I hide behind.
I can't escape anymore." he wrote down some more and started the chords and singing the next verse
" Escape, I wanna escape.
I wanna replace this fear within,
But it traps me,
Taunting me while I suffer slowly.
As a desperate cry of help escapes my lips,
I open my eyes and see you by my side.
You hold out your hand and dry my tears." he wrote down some more putting his acoustic guitar down then picking it back up playing a sort of acoustic solo.
"Stray hasn't got off my mind since she kissed me yesterday." he said writing some more lyrics and putting his guitar down.
"I've fallen give or take it took a year I really like her all of a sudden just an outburst of love." he said putting his hand on his chin.
Stray was at her house in her room watching Napoleon Dynamite it was one of her favorite movies. The phone rang and the call was blocked
"Hello Who is this" she said into the phone.
"If you wouldn't have asked me out that night I probably would have killed myself I was turned down three times and earlier that day I got in a fight.....Thank you." The mysterious person said.
"Alex is that you." Stray said in the phone.
"I love you Stray thank you so much I always want to be with you always and I will, and yes its Alex...." Alex said almost in tears.
"Why are you telling me this." Stray asked.
"Because I love you I liked you up until three days ago and I've just fallen for you like never before." Alex said.
"Alex I love you too." she said crying.
"If you wanna come over you can stay the night my parents don't care they said they will be watching us like hawks though." Alex said with a laugh and cry combination.
"Uhh sure mine aren't home I'll be right there." Stray said as she packed her bag and wrote a note to her parents
Mom and Dad went to Alex's to hang out. she wasn't going to tell them she was going to spend the night they would freak out.
Stray walked about two blocks and Alex was Waiting out front he ran to her and hugged her
"I'm sorry I had to tell you and I couldn't help it i don't know what came over me." he said hugging her tightly.
"Its alright but, lets go inside and talk about it." Stray said.
"Alright" Alex said grabbing her hand and leading her inside. This wasn't the first time she had been over to his house but however it was the first time staying the night.
