razz hysical Description:: Enoki stands at 5'11"--a relatively normal height, but with his extremely broad shoulders and generous belly, he appears overweight. He is, in fact, incredibly strong, even figuring in the paranormal strength of most shinigami. The way to envision his frame is a plain ol' square--short neck, broad-featured face, with a high-cut flat-top and long, well-groomed sideburns. He looks like a high-school delinquent, but that's just a style thing for him.

razz ersonality:: Overall a nice person, Enoki takes his job as a shinigami seriously, and despite the indifference with which his family treats him, he still cares for and helps them--he's the type who doesn't really feel he's being walked on, as he will put his foot down when he doesn't want to do a certain thing. Strangely, he'll even keep his lax demeanor while fighting Hollows, but has, on occasion, been known to break into violently aggressive fits during heated battles.

:Clothing:: Enoki saw no real reason to customize his shihakushou. He wears a standard black shihakushou, but does not wear tabi or waraji--he goes barefoot.

:Background Information:: In life, Enoki was a strange contradiction--a scary-looking student who was much more academic-minded than he looked. After a horrible, accidental death where he was smacked in the throat during a kendo match, he was sent to Soul Society via konsou by Akkibuzoku Kiba, unseated 8th-division shinigami.

In Rukongai, he ended up in a "family" of various spirits--three other boys all about his age. All four were taken in by a shinigami noble house due to their coincidentally high reiryoku, and trained in the basics of konpaku combat. However, Enoki was constantly berated by his new family for his poor skill in kidou. While strong in zanjutsu and hakuda, his family, with its strengths in kidou and understanding of spiritual bodies, found him less than useful.

Not scientifically-minded enough to enter the 12th division, and not legally-minded enough to enter the 6th division, he was recommended into the 8th division--the Crazy Eights--where his family thought his physical power could be put to the best use.

As a shinigami, he progressed through his missions quickly and efficiently, maintaining his compassion for both the living and the dead, and showing no hesitation in facing Hollows, no matter how powerful they were. His skill in zanjutsu and hakuda has also raised him to the rank of seventh seat.

Weapon Name | Oogan Kon (Great Stone Shaft)

Description | The handle of Enoki's weapon is different from other zanpakutou--instead of the slight curve of a standard Japanese sword, the handle is straight, wrapped in cord, and has a ring-pommel. The tsuba is a simple metal crossbar, curved down very slightly at the ends.

The spirit of Oogan Kon appears as a short Buddhist monk with a generous belly and sash, carrying a large metal priest's ring staff. On the monk's forehead, instead of the six-circle tattoo, he bears a tattoo of the character "gan" (stone). While this monk speaks in a sagely tone, his words are often some of the most horrible, demeaning insults known to man.

Weapon Level | Enoki is able to reach shikai.

Shikai - By aiming the point of his zanpakutou toward his opponent with his right hand, then placing the palm of his left hand on the pommel, Enoki unleashes his shikai. With the cry "MASSUGU" (erect), the blade transforms into a long stone cylinder with four rows of three holes along the edges of the sword. These holes leak reiatsu, and Enoki is able to push his own reiatsu into the weapon and out the holes, increasing the speed of his swings, and conversely being able to slow the weapon down or change the direction of its swings. He is also able to, when locking blades with an opponent, emit his reiatsu through the frontside holes to use as a concussive force.

Ban Kai | Undiscovered. However, when that time comes...

Enoki's Ban Kai, Kyouryoku Dai-ou Oogan Kon (Emperor of Force, Great Stone Shaft) causes the blade to disappear, replacing it with a towering, constantly-emanating stream of reiatsu that is almost impossible for Enoki to control. He's able to manage three, maybe four incredibly-powerful swings at best, but any more endangers the health and constitution of his spiritual body.

Unique Skills | Enoki doesn't name his techniques--however, he has reportedly once thrown his shikai-released Oogan Kon at a Hollow with all its reiatsu jets on, shooting it toward the opponent while hollering "ENOKI BULLET" at the top of his lungs. It is unconfirmed whether or not this is an actual technique of his.

:Arts:: None so far. Enoki's skill with kidou is very limited, and is able to perform maybe one poorly-executed shunpo at best.
