I promised I would write a journal entry today, but I'm too tired to think of anything to write about. ;__;

Oh well! Sometimes that's what makes the best journal entries!

I tried to have a nap but couldn't sleep, even though I'm really tired and only got a few hours of sleep last night. I tried reading my book to help make me drowsy, but it just got exciting and did the opposite. XD Brandon Sanderson is a great writer, I can't wait for the conclusion of the Wheel of Time series!

Hmm, it's my turn to work the weekend coming up. I both like and dislike working weekends. I have a different set of responsibilities because I'm essentially in charge for the two days. On Saturday, rather than my usual grocery store duties, stocking shelves etc, I get to do some monotonous computer work and punch in numbers for the upcoming ad. Although it is very repetitive, I enjoy it because it eats up time very quickly. On Sunday, I get to rearrange the displays to make room for whatever might be coming in the following week. This is the part I don't like. When I start doing it it's not so bad, it's even kind of like a puzzle, trying to figure out what fits best in which spot, and I enjoy the challenge. However, it takes nearly the whole day to do, and can sometimes feel like I worked all day but didn't accomplish much.

It actually reminds me of how I felt about school. When I was at home and had to go to school, I never felt like I wanted to go, but once class started it was easy to become immersed in the subject. And, sometimes, it was even enjoyable. Which isn't to say that I wasn't glad when it was over, of course.

Almost time to go pick up Dani now. Seriously, next time I'll have something more interesting and thoughtful. Really! Even if I have to googlehunt a topic.
