I've entered the Book Challenge. It's where you set yourself a number of books to read by 2010, (Or whatever the next year is, depending on when you start) and then read that number of NEW books before then, recording what they are and how many pages. By new, I mean ones you haven't read before. Fahrenheit 451 is definitely going to be read at some point. I need to see if my mother has a copy of it. If not, I'll drop by the library.

Anyways, I entered in the thread in the book forum, and I also made a bet with my friend Amanda - our goals being 50. So, I'm on book number one: Rebel Angels by Libra Bray. I'll update in here so I don't forget. >w> I have a tendency to do so.

In other news, I told the person I like that I like him recently, and it turned out pretty well. It's definitely a load off my chest. I don't have to act awkwardly around him anymore. xD It's nice. :3

In other other news, I started buying the Tsubasa Chronicles manga. I have volumes 2-5. 1 wasn't in stock, and I've read it before, so I'll go back and buy it when they get it in. I can't WAIT for Fullmetal Alchemist 18 to come out in English. I have a Japanese volume of it already, courtesy of my friend Hannah who brought it back for me from her trip to Japan last spring. I don't want to look through it though 'cause of picture spoilers. ;; And I REFUSE to read it online. I want to own it. >3 Just so I can say I have it. xD

I start work on Monday, meaning no more sleeping in 'til 11am. D: I'm going to miss that, but at least I'll be working and getting a pay check. It'll entertain me, which means I won't be spending every waking moment on the computer anymore. As much as I love all my friends on here, my butt can't take the inactivity for that many hours a day. Sorry friends, my butt comes first. XD (I still love you all though)

I went up to FYE today, which is a movie, CD, et cetera store at the mall, and I was disappointed because none of the anime I normally buy was on sale today. I'll only buy it on sale since I think $25 for four episodes is a bit steep, but hey, maybe I'm just cheap. I'm looking for Death Note volumes 6 and up, and Fullmetal Alchemist volumes 3 and up. If they don't go on sale soon, I'll check on deepdiscount. They've usually got some good deals if you look in the right place.

Charlie - my orange cat - is laying against my leg while I sit here on my bed typing this. He's such a ham. And a pimp, evidently. Whenever I have my friends over, he lays all over all of them. Can't get enough of them. I think he likes all the female attention. xD He's pretty funny, my Charlie. <3
Speaking of which, my cat Ruby scratched him the other day. I'm not sure whether to be mad or not - she started it, but she's also always bullied by him as well. She got him in the whiskers - where they come out of his fur - and he was shaking afterwards, the poor guy. </3 Roma - my third cat - just lays there. She doesn't care. xD

I'm really looking forward to going back to school. Even though I have one more additional year left year, I've already started looking at colleges to transfer to. I've got it narrowed down to five, but I want to look through their psychology programs before I make solid decisions. When I got to get a post graduate degree later on, I want to go to Oxford or Stanford. I know - high goals - but if I join a few extra-curriculars and keep my grades how they are now (3 high As, and one high B), I should be alright. I just need to talk to an adviser to see which schools want which classes. But that's not for a while - three years.
