Gold's Army Mechs

All mechs here are genrale information on the unit, also as a side not none are meant for deep space travel, they can survive and move in space, but do not have the fuel stores or thrust required to move from planet to planet.

Unit Appearance:

Height: 22.2 meters
Weight: 85.4 tons
Special Equipment: -
Fixed Armament: Heat Horn (mounted on forehead), machine cannon x3 (mounted on left arm), revolving stake (mounted on right arm, cylinder fed (6 rounds)), Square Claymore x2 (mounted on shoulders)
Optional Armament: Split Missile Launcher

"A machine capable of breaching enemy frontlines with absolute firepower." This was the main design concept that the engineers of the Earth Federation’s North American base at Langley kept in mind when developing this unit.

The testbed for this concept was a customized Gespenst unit 3, bristling with medium- to close-range, solid-ammunition weapons. It did not feature any expensive and dangerous alien-derived EOT (Extra-Overtechnology) weapons systems or equipment, but was based entirely on regular Earth technology. The design was intended, as part of the ATX Project, to develop a new line of mass-production units that would replace the aging Gespenst as the backbone of the Earth Federation army. While the design was incredibly successful as a frontline assault unit, it was deemed too inefficient to for mass production. The unit was affectionately called "Alteisen" (German for Scrap Metal) because of its low-tech approach to combat.

The Alteisen's main weapons consisted of a solid-firing triple machine cannon mounted on the left arm, an large, explosive-driven, armor-piercing stake mounted on the right arm, and the "Square Claymore," a pair of shoulder-mounted titanium ball bearing launchers. A solid-bladed, electrically-heated blade mounted on the unit's forehead rounded out its arsenal.

PTX-007-03C Weißritter
Unit Appearance:

Height: 21.7 meters
Weight: 60.3 tons
Special Equipment: Compact Tesla Drive (mounted on back), Beam coating (later replaced with an Anti-Beam Field)
Fixed Armament: Beam cannon x3 (mounted in left arm)
Optional Armament: Ochstan Launcher (can fire both solid rounds and beams, hand-carried in use), beam sword, Split Missile Launcher

Another product of the ATX Project was the PTX-007-3C Weißritter (pronounced Vise-ritter, German for "White Knight" wink . Weißritter was the third of the limited-production PTX-007 Gespenst Mk II series, the first and second being the R-Type and S-Types, respectively. Designed to complement the PTX-003C Alteisen’s frontline assault capability, Weißritter was armed with several long-range weapons that could be used to provide support fire for its sister unit.

Weißritter's main weapon was the Ochstan Launcher (An Ochstan is an old type of German lance), a long, rifle-like device that could fire both solid slugs and beams. Both modes complemented each other; the solid rounds were more powerful but more limited in range, while the beams reached much farther but did less damage. Excellen could also fire both modes in close succession, maximizing damage and versatility.

Unlike many other Personal Troopers, the Weißritter had the ability to fly, thanks to a compact Tesla Drive installed on its back. Most of the bulky armor attached to the regular Gespenst-series units was stripped off for greater mobility, leaving the Weißritter comparatively lightly-armored. The end result was a high-mobility assault unit that could sortie quickly and strike rapidly at targets from a distance, while its partner Alteisen could charge in and finish them off at close range.

While Weißritter was incredibly successful in its tests and in actual combat, it was deemed too complex and expensive for mass production.

Weight: 72.4 tons
Special Equipment: Beam Coating
Fixed Armament: Split Missile Launcher x2 (mounted on waist), Mega Plasma Cutter (hand-carried in use), Mega Beam Rifle (hand-carried in use), Slash Ripper remote weapon x12 (stored in shoulder armor)
Optional Armament: -

The first of the PTX-007 Gespenst Mk II series, Unit 01 was designed for ranged combat and mobility. Like its sister units, it did not possess any Extra Overtechnology systems or weapons, but relied solely on regular Earth technology.

The Gespenst Mk II R-Type and S-Type were built as test units in the development of the mass-produced RPT-007 Gespenst Mk II M-Type. The R-Type focused on a high-mobility role, while the S-Type was built for sheer firepower. The R-Type was armed with a Mega Beam Rifle for ranged assaults, as well as the deadly "Slash Ripper" remote weapons. These were little more than smart, guided blade projectiles that could easily shred grunt units into ribbons.
