You know, I like Gaia online, this place is cool, seriously. There's tons of forums, many things to do, fun customizations, and just so much, but honestly, it's just the community that has driven me out of this place.
I've been here since 2003, when the most expensive item was 200,000 gold, I believe it was atleast. Everything was nice, the community seemed to have an IQ, and overall people seemed pretty nice. Gold didn't matter as much really. The avg high amount of users to have existed in one day was 1500.
But now I come here. Gaia, the site, has massively improved. More features, more fun things to do, I really do like that, however, the IQ of this community has seemed to lower down to something that's even smaller than a brick. 95% of gaia seems to be made up of people who are either, n00bs, lack intelligence, lack much intelligence, and are just play stupid. People are hateful against one another in many areas, and much, much of the place is full of constant immaturity. Gaia seems to be made on, "Who has most gold, etc." I honestly wish items were all worth around the same amount. I wish donation items didn't keep rising in value, because by having one certain item, you're automatically some form of god or something. I understand the economy is one thing that definitely keeps Gaia alive, the strive to have power or have something better than the other person (that's the typical human flaw), but I really wish it wasn't like that. I miss the old Gaia when items weren't worth everything. Sure, I have "rich" items in Gaia, but that shouldn't make me anymore special.
Aside from the basic economy, I wonder where people's IQ went? I'm serious, has anyone else noticed that a lot of people on Gaia are dumb as ********? And I mean seriously, seriously -dumb-. A lot of times I do wonder if some of them are not dumb, and they're just creating a topic on the ED that's a no-brainer just because they want to have a topic to call their own? But aside from that, yah, some people here, or many, are just plain stupid. I swear these stupid people are going to kill me one day from just having to listen to them talk.
I'm happy for one thing is that I haven't seen as many beggers as I have on other sites or games. For the ones who do beg though, guess what? WE DON'T GIVE A ********. GO AWAY.
But eh, I don't really ever play Gaia anymore.
Oh, on another note, what's the point in having every item on Gaia? Not like people are gonna know you have it, so isn't it pointless? I'm happy with just having a cool looking avatar. I really think that's all that should matter since that's all anyone is -ever- going to see.
So blah blah blah.
Oh and the people who think you shouldn't be able to put whatever you want on your avatar, go suck yourself, cause we dun care bout your jealous a**. *dances around with her ports*
