I had a fun Halloween! =) My work had a big Halloween party. People dressed up, we had loads of potluck food, and cubicles were decorated. XD

I dressed up as Jack Skellington from Nightmare Before christmas! ^^


Good stuff! At first, I looked around at the commercialized Jack costumes and omg, they're so ugly. x_X;;; So I browsed online and found this great page where people have created their own Jack costumes. So after some thought, I decided to make one myself. The only big thing for the costume was Jack's head. So I drove around, gathered materials, and did some paper mache work! =D Wow, haven't paper mache'd since grade school! Fun lil' project. Well, let me back up a bit. I needed a mold for the paper mache, so I tried looking for an inflatable ball or beach ball of some sort. @_@ I went to maybe 5 store, but what the hell... no one had any. Guess it was a summertime product. I searched around the house and found MY GLOBE! Haha... that worked nicely. I started about 2 weeks ago and did bit by bit. So paper mache newspaper, paint, cut out holes, and draw on the face! I also made the bat "necktie". ^^ Then I bought some skeleton hands gloves.

Alright, onward to the party. We had a costume contest, group cubicle decoration contest, and pumpkin carving contest.

Costume Contest:
There were 3 categories for winners:
Most Creative (which I was hoping for. He did an awesome job with the Star Trek Borg though.)


Most Scariest (more scarier with his chainsaw!)


Most Funniest (he was cool, busted out with dance moves.)


Cube decorations were fun too. We really went all out and had fun with it. One group did "Twisted Christmas" which was really cool and they put loads of detail into it. My costume fit right in! Haha. My group had decapitated bodies everywhere. XD And then we slapped on nametags... like one of them had "Thumbplay" (our competitors). =P
Only 3 people participated in pumpkin carving contest. The best one was a pumpkin puking with a bottle of beer next to it. XD

Then we had a big potluck lunch, this apple "bobbing" game, and a lil' chacha fun.

At night, I watched Ghost Hunters LIVE on SciFi. ^^ Pretty cool.
