It starts with a small blow
It makes a small crack
It’s not a big deal
But we can never go back
Another blow follows
The small crack chips away
We feel a little less whole
With each and every day
A big heartache strikes
The whole becomes two
Some tears are spilled
As our outlook turns blue
Then the worst happens
Someone dies
The heart is shattered
You’re tired of their lies
The same it’ll heal over time
And it’s gonna be ok
No matter how much they talk
The truth will never be what they say
This is how a heart breaks
How it becomes weak
How it becomes vulnerable
For a cure we’ll always seek
Ehhh, not my greatest, but i had to somehow put down my grief into words. So why not poetry? I'm better now, but on last Saturday I was still horribly upset over my puppy. I still miss her even now. She was a hateful, mean puppy, but I missed coming home to her when she was all happy and loveable, lol. This is kinda dedicated to her i guess. some might say that it's a little over dramatized for the death of an animal, but she was my mom and I's baby, 3nodding
Rest in peace Mia. You can rest peacefully knowing that no other dog will be able to get your chase lounge, ^_^
