E3 is AWESOME!!!
They have soo many new things that i am just drooling over the content of the new games.
Lemme just give a basic run-by for those who dont know what happened at E3 during the spotlights of the 3 titans of consoles.
XBOX- Reprogramming online. Integrating Netflix, allowing multiple viewers of one movie, and Showing off their hardware with new software (IE: Rock band, Fable 2, Resident evil 5 (As i prefer to refer to as- The next ressi outbreak. Yeah, im not much of a fan of the Resident evil games. The shooting style is too clunky, and not as responsive as i like aiming to be.), GOW 2 (Gears of War 2), and Fallout 3 ( <3 ). Xbox Also has FF13 goin to the 360. They also announced making Another galaga game, and Banjo Kazooie (God i love Banjo kazooie...)
Nintendo- Ill be honest, i really didnt give a crap. I'm a heavy gamer, and ever since they made the wii...I've been kinda ashamed of them. Anyways, they are FINALLY utilizing the Wii board thingy, with a new snowboarding game. They also have made new hardware for the Controllers. Its more sesetive, and moves to your wrist rotations and every little detail. Cool, but...i dont see the use in shooters, Animal Crossing (FYI, they announced the new animal Crossing. yes, i love that game too.), or fighter...wait, in fighter games, that would kick a**. Ninpo: Rolling fist of DOOM!
Sony- Announced the PS3 is gonna get cheaper. Also said that they are still going to make games for the PS2, and are working on God Of War 3 (heaven!!!), Little Big Planet (looks AMAZING!), the Playstation Network (yes, they FINALLY are starting to go more advanced with their online apps.), and more games such as FLower (What it's about, even i dont know.), The last remnant (Also going on PC, Tom is Happy.), Fallout 3 (also on PC, Heaven!), Street Fighter 4 (OMG OMG OMG!!! *mind orgy, collapses), and Project ORIGIN (YESSS!!!!).
As a heavy gamer, I say The PS3 wins. I will admit, microsoft had a lot to throw out. Its just....I like my tech to be as powerful as possible, and So far, the PS3 Has owned the 360 with hardware. Its HD compatible, It's highly customizable, the games that are coming out for it are just LOVELY (Drools for shooters and RPGS), and they so far are attempting to appeal to everyone, but at a level a gamer like me and accept.
