I thought my problem couldn't get any worse, it did (Oh joy).
When I went to Summer school today, the gym teacher kicked me out on sight, I missed 7 days of Summer school and I wasn't aware of it. I went to the Guidance Counselor to explain my problem, she asked me if I wanted to drop gym, math, or both classes. Now I'm sure of it, the phone call was only a recording, used to threaten me to go to summer classes. The Guidance Counselor wasn't even aware that I had received a phone call about summer school yesterday, and that they told me I would be thrown out of school if I failed to go.
The only schools I have heard about students being thrown out school for not attending summer classes was at failing schools, failing students being thrown out. I'm a B average student, in a B average high school, none of this makes sense.
So, when I went today, all of the kids had no idea what they were doing, the teacher didn't even notice that I wasn't attending for the past seven days. I know this math teacher, to me, he was the worst math teacher I have ever had during my school career. Today was my first day, the teacher gave me a test when I walked in and sat down, I didn't even understand what the test was about because the teacher lacked the skills to properly form sentences that made sense, or sentences that were even English. I did the best thing I could think of, since there were multiple choice questions, I just circled the multiple choices. Another bad thing about today was that the teacher had a shortage of calculators, the school was short on calculators. Guess what? My calculator died, so I was stuck without a calculator! A two hour class, that is normally a 45 minute class, in hot class room nearly full of students who talk a lot throughout the test, and for two hours straight, very hectic.
I think I have found a way to get out of this, and not only by applying pressure on the Board of Education in New York. I'll have to talk with my Guidance Counselor on Monday about this.
