Chapter I
Genix looked up at his ceiling, the plain white color of it made him feel like he was staring at nothing, just a big white sea of nothing. He heard coughing down the hall again, this time along with an alarm. Probably Sheena's... he thought as he rose from his bed and placed everything back very neatly. He walked out into the hallway, there was no sign of Eliza. He kept hearing the alarm buzzing over and over and over and over again. It was getting irritating.
He walked to the room's door and saw it was already open, but just by a crack. He looked around and braced himself, he kicked the door open and ran into the room. Almost as if it all happenned in slow-motion, he saw Sheena resting on a futon in the very compact and japanese-style room, he rushed over to the alarm by her head and hit the snooze button before turning around to run out. Then she woke up.
He felt a hand grab his ankle and pull him. As he fell he felt another hand reach for the back of his neck, squeezing downn on the pressure points there. "Who do you think you are barging in here like that!?" Sheena yelled into his ear. "I'm going to show you a lesson in respect you punk!" She pressed down harder on his neck and finally release his ankle, which was worse because now she had a free hand that could do all of the damage she wanted to inflict.
"Calm down!" Genix shouted back at her, "You're alarm clock just got on my nerves! If you'd just wake up like the rest of us do when we hear alarms then this kind of thing wouldn't have happened!" The pain was beginning to get to him and he began to grit his teeth.
She stared down at him angrily, "That doesn't mean that you have to just go in as you please into another person's room like that! Show some respect for the other people living here!"
Oh man... Not good, she's in a really bad mood! Genix was abot to counter her move with one of his own when they both began to hear music coming out of one of the fourth room in the house. The stopped yelling and she let go as they heard a melody playing from a bass guitar. Eliza was amazing with instruments, they all just did as she willed them to. The clarity of the bass guitar along with the melodious tune eased them in such a way that nothing else could. Sheena let go of Genix and he slowly rose up and sat next to her, both of them just looking out of the door and into the hallway. "Wow..." they said simaltaneously. They hheard mumbled singing, only because it was through the walls, but it still sounded beautiful.
They both stood up and walked over to the room and found eliza amongst all of the musical instruments, playing and singing as she sat on a black bench hoding a sunburst Les Paul style Bass guitar. She was still wearing her pajamas though, but she still looked good in them.
