I'm Just Not Enough For You
Another emo poem I wrote reeeeeaaaallllyyyy early in the morning. It's funny because these two poems have only been up a few hours on my dA, and they have 15 views each, so I thought I'd put it up on Gaia too.

I'm just not enough for you
I gave you all I had to give
But I've got nothing left
to sacrifice
It's all I had
My friendship wasn't enough for you
You wanted more
You had to get a crush on me
Even though being crushed isn't good
And hitting on is meant to hurt.
My sacrifice wasn't enough for you
You had to get jealous
and emotionally beat me
until I backed away from a friend
Because you weren't comfortable
But even then you didn't see
That I did that all for you.
My trust wasn't enough for you
You had to use it and abuse it
and push me all you could
to see how far you could go
before I pushed right back.
My moral wasn't enough for you
You had to try to talk me into things
until I gave in
or didn't
and when I didn't you were cruel to me
because I wasn't ready.
My body wasn't enough for you
you had to bend and break
every line I had made
not to cross
though you promised long ago
you wouldn't
if I said no.
My innocence wasn't enough for you
you wanted me to play naughty
just for you
but I couldn't do it
I couldn't give it up
even for my love
Because you only have your innocence once
but once you've lost it, it's gone.
My sanity wasn't enough for you
I've held back many a tear
Just because I wanted you
to think that I was cheery,
just like you
because I dont want to make you
sad.
I gave you all I had to give
But I've got nothing left
to sacrifice
It's all I had
So if you don't love me anymore, there's nothing that I can do
because
I'm just not enough for you.
