A story i wrote
Drake was tired of all the human fear. He didn't even feast off them. There cattle yes there thick vein bursting in my mouth but that wasn't the point. Ever since he came people had been using vials of cattle blood or if rich enough a dead persons extracted last blood. He did take those vials for winter when the cattle where taken away from the village and slaughtered "what a waist" he murmured as he walked to the familiar place of a restaurant. His friend Danielle owned the restaurant and was closing up when she saw him dressed in his chained pants and trench coat that that he used to carry the vials of blood. His black hair blown to one side of his face by the night wind. "Hurry up Drake" she said flirtatiously he did as told "more vials" he said in a mood less tone. She looked at him and did as usual sized up every thought and emotion as she always could "Drake" she said suddenly motherly "If I promise to feed on fear tomorrow would you get some herbs and such that I need?" Drake no longer shocked by her ability to read him like an open book said " You being an emotion vampire is so useful and yes Ill get your supplies" he said in smooth voice "Danielle" Drake said blushing slightly as he sat at the bar of the restaurant "yes" she said letting down her curly scarlet hair her lavender eyes full of compassion and care come on come on she is right there ask her to marry you instead of saying what was truly on his mind he said "what do you need for me to get?" damn i thought he was finally going to ask me to marry him She began to answer when a white cloaked figure came in. He took of his hood revealing a 23 year white hair and ice blue eyes. "Hey Myotis" Danielle said "Hey" he said with a bored as he walked to the bar and sat next to Drake. Drake laughed "Nothing fun to eat tonight" Myotis sighed "no not one important secret. made newly weds forget they were married but thats it" Myotis said walking up stairs. "Well hes friendly tonight" Drake said looking up the stairs. An hour later Myotis was running down the stairs tripped and flung his wings out to hover an inch over the ground he dropped to his feet "they know what we are at least what you are drake and they are almost here hide Drake they will look for your type only the dunces think you are the only type here" with out a second thought he turned smaller and flew to a support beam to hide followed by Myotis 5 minutes later the door burst in in and a mob of screaming, yelling, pissed off people came in and grabbed Danielle and checked her neck for bite marks, then her mouth for fang she had neither but they beat her up anyways accusing her of hiding a vampire. Drake got pissed off and was about to drop down and slaughter every last one of those idiots when out of nowhere Myotis stopped him "what the hell are you doing" Drake hissed " i am trying to eat there memory of us being vampires and apparently Danielle is eating there rage and hate which leaves you to make sure your vials are hidden well enough are they" Drake pointed towards a cupboard next to the beam "damned vampire your right and yes they are right there" he hissed drake watched as some of the crowd began walking of one by one drake grinned evilly as he thought of a way to stop the event from occurring again he slipped outside and began draining the leaving humans of their blood and putting them in vials i will never starve again then it hit them that he would be starving his friend so he stopped and hid in the park
