Also I find it kinda funny that my first post in my journal since 2003 is a story about lesbians. Anyway, yes if you don't like lesbian NPCs, go away, and this has a light rating because nothing naughty happens haha. Enjoy.

Sunlight filtered through the curtain and encased the room in a warm glow. Long burnt out candles littered the bureau near the door, their wax now hardened pools dripping dangerously towards the edge of the surface they resided. Discarded clothes littered the carpet in no particular order- a bra hung over a lamp shade, a pair of panties laid next to a collection of flash cards all labeled with different species of plants and animals. Two pairs of glasses sat folded up on the bedside table, along with a picture of a beautiful dark skinned woman, and a young looking blue haired boy. On the blue haired boy's shoulders was draped a green snake, it's jaws open wide, looking rather dangerous, yet the boy smiled on, oblivious.

The room was silent except for the ticking of the clock on the wall, and the soft breathing emitting from a red headed woman laying on the bed, who lay asleep. The woman laid on her stomach, her hand placed on her pillow and her eyes shut tight. Her long lashes reached the top of her cheeks, and her bare back was relaxed, causing it to dip inward due to her shoulders being slightly drawn in. Next to her, the same dark skinned woman from the photograph was laying awake, her head propped up on a few pillows. She was lazily tracing her finger down the curve of the other woman's back, watching as the flesh under her fingertips became goose-bumped.

This went on for a while, and the darker skinned woman watched her partner through half lidded eyes, waiting for her to stir. “Flynn,” She whispered finally to her sleeping companion. “Flynn...” As she repeated herself, she lowered her mouth to the other's ear and spoke the name a third time softly. This time it made the woman's eyes open slowly, and a smile creep upon her face.

Flynn blinked for a few moments, then replied, as she shifted onto her side.“Singh..” Flynn raised her pale hand up to the other woman's cheek and caressed it. “Last night..”

Lips pressed against the hand, as another snaked its way over to Flynn to pull her closer. “I know,” Singh muttered, still looking at Flynn with her lids half open. “You don't have to tell me, I felt it too.”

Flynn's eyes wandered over Singh's body which was covered by the forest green blanket that was on herself as well. “The connection we have... I never... not with anyone... I've never felt like this. My heart is pounding, even now.” Flynn's eyes snapped back up to Singh's and a tear slipped down her cheek. “You could have died.”

Singh's eyes closed then reopened, as if she was trying to confirm that Flynn was still before her, and she wasn't dreaming. “I know. But I didn't, and Timmy didn't, I'm alright.” Singh snuggled herself closer to Flynn, who followed suit and placed her head on Singh's chest, her ear where the other's heart would be. Arms enclosed around Flynn, and the two began to breath in unison- following the beat of the ticking clock.

Silence enveloped the room again, as the women drifted back to sleep. Singh fell asleep first, her fingers digging into Flynn's flesh, and Flynn laid motionless, her eyes scanning Singh's form and fingers tracing under the covers down her side. Soon Flynn's eyes began to droop, and as they did, she noticed the sun gave Singh a halo of light as if she were an angel. Slowly she drifted back to sleep, her hand resting on the small of Singh's back. Somewhere outside of their sanctuary a young boy's voice called out for Singh, however it was ignored as both Flynn and Singh slipped into pleasant dreams about each other.
