As always, this a a rough draft filled with spelling, grammer, and tense mistakes. But, the story should pretty much make sense. Oh, if you have any questons, Pm me, I won't answer you here.
"We'll take the lake route all the way up to the pass, then circle around the mou-" Seamus's voice was cut off by an alarmed cry and the noises of upset horses. On of the servants to his father, Geof his name was, was sprinting with his arms flailing wildly about him in craze. Once he approached, Seamus's horse pulled against the reins as the servant puffed to get enough air. Seamus motioned for someone to bring water, and Kaya said nothing, aware that this probably had nothing to do with her. After moments of waiting while Geof caught his breath, he gushed words fast enough to get him out of breath once again. "Thegovernorisishisroomandishurtandweneedyouandsomethinghashappened." Kaya was confused, but Seamus had apparently been able to separate the words, for he jumped from his saddle and thrust the reigns of his horse to a stable hand. He latched7 Kaya's hand by the wrist and pulled her running behind him, headed for the castle. She tried to ask what was going on, but his speed added to the apparent mayhem of the streets hindered her words lost an unanswerable if they were heard
After pushing past the masses of people gathered near his front gate and getting past the guards, he finally explained as they made thief way around the castle like home. "My father s in trouble, hurt. We must get to him quickly." At this, he sped up and she followed as best she could. A halting stop and a sharp turn led them into his bedchamber, and Kaya gasped at the sight before she could restrain herself. There lay the governor, laying in his bed as if he were asleep. But, with blue lips and pale skin, also with a blueish ting, it was rather clear that he was not merely asleep. Around him were spots of blood, apparently from coughing, and Kaya recognized what had happened with little effort. As did Seamus, who lowered his had in mourning. Bendite was a lethal poison that first shut down the victim's sense of hearing, then sight, then smell. Blind and deft, the victim suffocates from nerve lapses in the lungs, then finally dies from lack of air or drowning in their own blood, which gathers in the lungs.
She lowered her own head and didn't speak, respecting Seamus's solemness. A movement, quick as a streak of heat lightening flashed in the corner of her eye, and she she looked over to see nothing out of the ordinary. But Seamus's snake eyes locked onto the ceiling with intensity and anger more concentrated than she had ever seen in him. A low growl escaped his throat and suddenly a form dropped from it's hiding place on the roof. It stood up from it's landing crouch, long silver hair falling from the back of his black coat. His eyes never strayed to the bed, to his handiwork. His face was serious, but his eyes seemed to mock. Seamus took a step forward and the man dodged to the right at inhuman speeds. Seamus growled in frustraion, low and feral with rage. Anya's eye locked onto his face in astonishment. He was paler than anyone she had ever seen, almost matching his hair, and his eyes were a frightening burgendy. Seamus lunged again and the man moved too quickly to see.
In a second, it was all over. Seamus dropped, a powerful elbow having been slammed into his back. His eyes were closed but his back rose and fell in breath. Not dead, merely unconcious. The tall man look back around at her, and she froze. He seemed to consider for a moment, then turned to leave through the window in which he came. But, when she opened her mouth to protest, he was in front of her in a second. "What is your name?" She hissed, as a last request before he surely knocked her out.
A strong fist was driven into her stomach and she doubled over in pain, her diaphram wasn't working correctly and she gasped for breath. In a startling gesture, the assasin held her shoulder so she didn't colapse and whisped in her ear. "I'm sorry. I'm Sebastian." With the words fading from her hearing, she slumped to her knees and the world went black around her.
