News
Anime Club/Moving into new house
Gomenasai, whoever is reading this, that I havent done a follow up on my last Journal entry. You see, during the firs semester of school, I have had one heck of a work-load. Due to the fact I had just moved to this town (Literally, i moved 1 week before Cary's school started) I was being pummeled by both school work, unpacking, and (as usual...) starting projects to improve the house. During the first semester, we had finally wrapped up all the unpacking, and had gone through 1 and 1/2 storage rooms. Gladly, i can claim that i had recovered all the computer parts/electronic goods that were going to be tossed, and am currently trying to install another Hard-drive into Haruko. Anyways, back to the story at hand.
After about, eh, one month, i had finally started to go through with my plan at this school- I founded Otaku Inc., the Anime/Manga club for Cary Grove High School. Although it is not a directly school supported club, (don't worry, I still went through the standard procedure of founding a club- I got myself the support of the School Principal, got myself a Sponsor, Mr. Hay, which i must say is a fine Art teacher) due to the fact that Cary Grove is only allowed a certain budget, and we were founded after the spending was organized....Simimasen! I was ranting there. Either way, the club is allowed to use school grounds and property (as long as its legal and sane), and we are attempted (though i doubt it will happen this year) to make a manga. Also, reecently i started to learn japanese via some cds my mom had bought for me, as well as a coursebook and dictionary.
SCHOOL!
Another thing happened- Education! Now this time, I'm actually proud to bring it up. As most of my friends are aware of, my grades usually suck...badly. This time, amazingly, it was different! My Grades for the first semester were....*Ahem*

Physics- B+
Junior English- C
US History- C+
Adv. Algebra with Trig- B+
All in all, I believe I did great! Hell, its been AGES since I had a 3.0 GPA for 1 term! The insane part of it was that I was sick constantly, and thus had about 15 Absenses from school. Okay, NEXT TOPIC!
GF!!...well, more appropriately, EX-GF!
Amazingly, as unusual for a odd-ball like me, I got myself a GF (girlfriend for those unrelated to 'txt t4lk')...for a while. We only went out for 2 months, (she claimed it was 3, though I counted. 3: Meanie ) and in the end she dumped me for some other guy. *shrug* Now, i still am taking this hard...though not as hard as break ups before. My problem is i care too much. Thus, i get too attached. XDD So, incidentally, i just said "Ah, screw it, im gonna go back to my old and favorite way to live: Single, and Otaku!" THus, i have been following my otaku ways, and embracing them. And that leads me to the NEXT TOPIC!

I will be going to Acen! HAHAHAH!!!! And this time, even if i get sick, i will endure! I will not let a repeat of last years event take place! (FYI, i got sick with a cold, and wasnt able to go) Thus, i am fully prepared this year for ACEN! In fact...speaking of which, i should probably go look for a job to pay for some things...sorry, my mind went off onto a TOTALLY different subject. I have reecently announced that the beguinning of this year was the FIRST ANNIVERSARY of www.cuinstudios.com, my website! I have also announced that i have reache the 2 digit numbers with Pixelated, and will continue to produce them as such. I have also started (very, very slowly...) a new story, In Game, which runs off of Pixelated. Want to know more? go and read for yourself!
Anime/Manga
NOW! Last but not least of the post! New/good anime/manga that is very, very good!
Bleach- of course, the first on the entire list would be a highly backed, and personal favorite series. Still being shown in japan, my personal favorite fansubbing group (which i know do not wish to be revealed, and thus, shall restrain their identity)is up to episode 159! If you do not know much about this anime, look it up! I already got carpal tunnel, and i still have more to list!
Naruto- Although in english, the series is quite...childrenized, the subbed version is very, very good. Not only do you get to see the series (which i must say, is a b-e-a-utiful story), but you dont have to withstand the repetative 'believe it'....granted that you can stand 'Dattebayo'. Although, personally, I would rather say anything in the english dictionary in japanese. even Dance! (which, btw, is Dansu!)
Someday's Dreamers: Spellbound - A very touching story about a everyday girl who happens to be one of the lucky human beings to have magical powers. I wont ruin the story, but during her 3rd year in high-school (keep in mind, in japan, there are only 3 years of high-school), she meets a boy in which, i cant help but say it, leaves her spellbound. Yeah, i know, cheesy, but its such a perfect word for the story. Anyways, its highly reccomended. Keep in mind im reading the manga.
Instant Teen: Just add Nuts- A very goodcomedy/romance that involves a elementary school girl happening accross some experimental beans that have the increible power to make people a certain number of years older! Her friend in school, (a boy, like i said, comedy) apparently has a crush on her, yet she doesnt know, and vice versa. Anyways, its just a grand little manga, i highly suggest it to the lovers of School Rumble, and other comedy/romance stories!
Lucky Star- Now onto one of my favorites! Lucky star is a series based around The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. LS is about a group of girls in their last year of high-school, each with their own different interests. It often covers really random topics, such as Drills, Otakuism, perverts, Gaming, and so on. It is a highly suggested anime to fans of anime with random topics, yet covers otakuism and gaming. Has many good references as well!
Hayate No Gotoku: A new anime with an amazing appeal! it is much like Lucky Star, yet it is more based upon relating thins to other anime. its a Romance/comedy, and has, once again, A TON of other anime references. Its is highly reccomeneded!
Tengen Toppan Gurren Lagaan- Very, very, very very very very BEAUTIFUL STORY! its about a....omg too hard to explain, just GO WATCH IT!.
Anyways, i need to sleep (and im gonna re-watch Canvas 2...again.) so i must log. Ja-ne~
