I had a dream or...what ever it was, I wrote about it as soon as I woke up. Here you go.


The road to death


After staying up for a full few days my body was worn out and exhausted. I’m about ready to collapse. I sit on my bed and slowly fall back. My eyes are immediately shut closed and a moment of complete exhaustion takes over. I hear a rustling sound of someone walking towards me. But not as though in my own room, the sounds of boots scraping against dirt. I feel someone grab my legs and I feel as if I were being dragged.
My thoughts racing along with my heart beat. Trapped between the dream world and real life. It seemed as though my dreams were taking me from reality. I felt I was still awake, this was a mistake I’m not sleeping yet wait, I said in my mind over and over again. The horrific feeling gives me chills even as I write this. I tried with all my might to open my eyes but it was as if I had no power what so ever. My physical strength didn’t matter now. I now feel a rough rope securely tied around my feet. The sound of the boots echoing as they walked further away from me. I suddenly feel my body being dragged through some sort of dirt road. And now a sound of horse hooves clicking slowly against the floor. I remember wondering if I would ever wake from this terrible feeling or if I was even dreaming at all. This feeling of me being dragged slowly seemed to last forever. I felt as though I was loosing my mind talking to my self in complete fear. Where was I? , Am I asleep? Is this a dream?
Am I dead…
I began to hear sounds of leaves rustling and the hooves walking even slower if possible. With the last of my strength I tried and tried forcing my eyes open. All my strength concentrated on my eyes. My body shook from how tightly they were closed until in they opened quickly. In a bright flash of light I saw I was being pulled by a black horse with a saddle but no rider. I looked around slowly my eyes watered with tears of fear. I was being pulled down a dirt road somewhere in the woods. A secluded road that seemed to have never been walked by man only pulled along at a slow pace as I. Tall trees on the sides of me seemed to take my breath and watch me. The horse walked at a terrible slow pace building me with fear of what was to come. My body was weak and useless in this world. Time slowed down and as my eyes wandered slowly watching the leaves fall slowly seeming to only drift and disappear as they hit the ground. I then lost my hearing. Or so what I thought, it was more of enhancing the sound of a whisper making all other sounds not be heard. Like I was under water and the sound around me became clearer. The sound of the hooves now echoed in my head and forced my body to loosen up. My arms slowly were raised above my head. As if I had no control over them or they were acting on their own. I turned my head to the side and saw a baby deer starring at me. Time now seemed slower then possible. What should have been a short time of eye contact lasted forever. The deer’s eyes grew larger and turned bright red forcing my eyes to widen. My eyes teared up as I starred into the tall shady trees. A group of black crows starring down at me as though I were already dead. All the while time going slower and slower. The sound of the hooves still echoing in my mind. I starred up into the sky and saw a dark red cloud slowly forming as if a storm was coming. I started to smile and laugh to my self. And then in a moment the laugh grew louder until I was laughing hysterically as if I were mad. The ground began to shake and tremble. It began to crack and shatter but still the horse kept it slow pace. Then in an instant time stopped. The world around me and every sound stopped only complete nothingness around me. I continued to stare up into the sky as it cleared and bright blue skies now formed above me. A loud bang went off coming from the road above me. I looked to the road quickly. I heard a sharp tone in my ears and a bright light come rushing towards me. I shut my eyes tight and saw the light get closer. I then awoke slowly afraid to wake my eyes. The road of death is all I could hear as I opened my eyes.
