Chapter 9
A Harvest Moon.
Knowing what had to be done Shinoe grasps the sword from the concrete floor and called for a long time comrade. “Abaddon!” Shinoe called from across the room. “I’ve got something that’s gotta be done for our project to be done... but I’m not to sure that I can do it on my own. The lunatics aren’t quite cooperating. They are trying to figure out how it should be done. And if that’s the case I’m not gonna be much help for this one.” Abaddon’s deep voice gave an eerie tone as he spoke. Though it wasn’t much it was a definite answer. “Yes…a Harvest…sounds delightful.” he laughed to himself as he walked towards Shinoe retrieving the sword. “So how many souls do you need?” Shinoe looked over up at the high warehouse ceiling and then back at Abaddon. “About 100. I only need a small fragment of a logician’s crystal to power the machine.” We’ll need more if this fails…and more if it’s successful.” Abaddon shrugs and watches Shinoe. “No skin off my back. Don’t really care what happens…I just want to do this.” Shinoe laughed even though he new Abaddon was serious. “Just don’t over do it...we don’t need cops on our asses …not when we are this close.” Abaddon shrugged once more and headed out of the warehouse through a side door that seemed to look like an apartment building. He stared down the street seeing a group of men handcuffed and being escorted to a police cruiser. The faint scent of blood was in the air. As it struck Abaddon he gave a sinister snare and began to run towards them due to its size he had to swing before he got there. A though of doubt briefly struck him but it was swiftly cast aside. There was no time to change his plans he swung the massive sword killing the officer instantly, Along with one of the other men. His eyes shot open with excitement as he slaughtered the others that were there. People began to look out from stores and buildings. “Huh. Looks like this entire neighborhood has to be whipped out. Oh Well.” The blade dripped blood on his shirt and the floor. Starting low, he kill all the store owners and what ever customers they had. Then up to the houses and laid waste to them all as well. He pants faintly as he watches the moon. “The Harvest Moon, what a more fitting phase.” He walks back to the base the eye radiated a purple glow from a sufficient an amount of souls that it had collected. It perpetual stare caught all that came across it.
