Memories
This is the beauty of happy memories.
They are an art work.
Capture the loving thought.
That gives you warmth.
That will be left inside your heart.
You can cherish it.
As I do with all mine.
Or you can forget.
The sound of memories.
Are music that makes you smile.
Music that puts you at ease.
I dance away.
Feeling that what happened in the past was right.
Felt great.
Even it ended.
It does not stop me from smiling away.
Because I am grateful that even happened.
I am left with a memory that I am proud of.
Left with smiles.
Warmth.
Strength to get through the day.
I still may have my bad memories.
I will not forget them.
But I will not dwell on them.
I do not want to be caught in the past with hate.
Anger.
Lost and confusion.
A want a reason to smile when I look to my past.
Still I will also look to the painful memories as well.
They happened to me for me to learn.
To understand.
To accept.
It will not break me down.
Only make me stronger.
I will learn from my past mistakes.
So much gratefulness for what I have gone through.
My open minded to all things.
Is where I get my wisdom from.
Memories are not a reason to feel haunted.
It is to give you strength.
Do not try to forget them.
There will come a time when it does not hurt no longer.
It will come a time for peace.
Even for just a moment.
Just cherishes it.
