Yes, it's that time of year again. The time when you're bombarded with Christmas Cheer, enough to fill anyone's stocking. Annoying, yes, but even as the weather finally decides to get a biteen colder, you feel the Christmas bug catching you too.

Well ... the good feeling you get around the 25th of December, not the Influenza type 'bug'. But you knew that.

I haven't reported the happenings in a long time. Yeah, 6th year, the 1st term down, only another 2 to go and then the Leaving Cert. and then sweet, sweet freedom. At the start of the year I got all reminiscent and teary eyed, wishing I had more time just to soak it all in ... and then I realised what it was actually like. I never, EVER want to do this year EVER again. And I mean this with all sincerity.

It's horrible, but I'm getting accustomed to doing my Hausaufgaben until 11 at night, having started at 5. ¬_¬
I'm accustomed to waking up feeling like I hadn't slept.
I'm even accustomed to speaking incoherently to friends on the internet while trying to prop my eyelids open on the weekends.
I'll tell you one thing ... leave, leave school before you have to go through it. Run far, far away and buy a smoothie bar in some remote island off the coast of Greece.

But back to Christmas? Yay, prezzies and things ... and if anyone would like to send a bit of gold my way, it's much appreciated. ^^;
