Fire Emblem: Clash of the Fallen
As a dark force threatens the continent of Elibe, young Mithos Holian's battle is about to begin...
Roleplay Characters
First off, I'd like to note that I CAN be flexable as to what time time eras and settings my characters can be in, and that this has NOTHING to do with story in here, but I thought I'd just post for once what RPCs I have.

Backstory of the Mother of Origins

It is unknown, even to herself, how the Dea and her servants came into being. Was she born from what humans call the Big Bang? Did she already exist sleeping in this universe, but was awakened by the Big Bang? Did she live a previous life outside this dimension but was thrust into it after having her memories of her previous life erased? Not even she knew the answer... all that she knew as that she was a living part of this Universe, and that she had her powers...

And how those with her came to be her servants was because her power far surpassed their own, and they respected her because of it, just as the ones below these servants of hers respected her servants. She wondered just what potential this universe could have... and her powers too. And so she tested this power upon herself... the result was that she created a son from her own flesh and powers. And so this group of celestial beings roamed the universe and then came upon a certain planet in the solar system that was mostly covered with water and had islands on it.

Seeing the potential in this planet, she descended upon its surface and dipped her hand in its waters as her son and servants watched. She softly spoke the words, "Let a new legacy of life begin..." And then her powers surged through the waters, giving rise to what people know as Abiogenesis. Cells came together within the water to very slowly form living beings... the legacy of life had begun but it was a very very slow process... spanning for millions of years.

After this long time the Earth was starting to fill with life. Some creatures left the sea while others remained in it. And these creatures changed more and more according to what their environment demanded of them to survive. And the divine ones watched all of this with intrigue. Eventually there was one race of creatures that caught the Dea's attention. For the most part, this newly evolved race resembled the Dea, her sons and even her servants and displayed a type of intelligence and congregated in order to survive. Having made her choice, Dea descended upon these creatures... who would soon become people, and granted them a blessing.

The power of morality and reason was bestowed upon them. Thus with this, it was the Dawn of Humanity. And they adored the Dea, her son and her servants who bestowed them with their willpower. Thus encouraged by Dea to put this to good use, they built clans, villages, and towns.

And with their many ancient civilizations built, it was a time of great prosperity for mankind. A golden age. And the Dea's son found great pleasure and fun in company of the humans, and shared many adventures across the mountains and seas with then. During these adventures in one of his more reckless escapades, he had even found himself a human lover whom he had cherished and loved.

As for the Dea herself? She established a sort of reign over the Earth. The thing is, she allowed the humans to live their lives as they saw fit, be it homosexuality, promiscuity, laziness, pleasure seeking and... well anything. Dea did not demand much from mankind, only that they not bring harm to their fellow humans and continue to prosper. That was practically her only commandment to them, to not bring harm to their fellow man. No stealing, no rape, no murder, no cruel exploitations that are meant to do harm. And those who so much as attempted to break this command were almost always instantly caught and punished, either given tasks of atonement, or locked up accordingly.

Her rule was truly fair, just and even-handed as the humans continued to prosper and seek happiness...

However, as it is said? Peace is never meant to last... for an unjust form of dissent began to rise in the form of none other than one of her own servants... Yehowah.

Yehowah was one of her more powerful servants in her hierarchy, the ones whom the humans greatly resembled called the Celestrals, who stood above the angels. As time passed, his care over the humans went from firm to to iron-fisted and then unforgiving. He began to demand absolute submission from the humans, and started unreasonably punishing those who lived personal lives which he found disgusting, be it homosexuality, promiscuity, pleasurable, and even laziness. Those who did not submit to his laws, body and mind were sentenced to punishment and death.

Seeing this horror being inflicted upon the humans, a shocked Dea's son kissed his lover farewell for now and departed for the Celestial plain to inform his Mother and the other Celestrals of Yehowah's misdeeds. He arrived just as his Mother - who could sense the mortals' cries of pain, anguish, sorrow and despair - was about to depart and investigate the cries for herself.

Needless to say... that upon hearing the news of Yehowah's mistreatment, the Dea was completely and utterly outraged! Her display of anger was a terrifying sight to all around her, most of whom were surprised that she could even be capable of such wrath. Standing from her throne again, she demanded that Yehowah be brought before her at once! Her son volunteered to do so himself, but she would not allow this. She summoned two of her more powerful Celestrals, Mars and Jupiter to accompany him. She commanded that if Yehowah was resistant, then he was to be subdued by force and thrown to her feet. And so with that, Dea's son and his two friends descended down to Earth.

They arrived just in time to witness Yehowah about to execute a group of homosexuals and the Son's lover! The reason for this was because he found her relationship with the Son to be improper and disgusting. But before the Son, Mars and Jupiter stopped him and told that the Dea demanded and audience with him at once. Yehowah was insistent on executing the "sinners" but following their orders, the three powerful beings beat him down and subdued him before he could and freed the prisoners. With that, they dragged him all the way up to the Celestial Plain and threw him before Dea, who demanded at once that he explain himself for his mistreatment of the mortals.

Yehowah pleaded and claimed in his defense that everything he did was for the better good of the mortals, and that the way they lived their lives did no one any form of good. Those that led what he called 'impure' lives should be forced into purity, and those that were lazy should be motivated. Those who did not submit to the higher beings should be punished. He claimed that "They should serve us in fear and rejoice in sorrow."

But the Dea outright rejected his ideals, finding his ideals disgusting and amoral, finding them to be the ideals of a tyrant. And further on that, the Dea could see right through Yehowah and sense his true desires. He desired to subdue mankind for his own personal control, and Dea commanded him to cease. If he did not, then she would punish him by turning him into a human and forcing him to live among them. And among them he would find no peace, after all the pain he put them through, they would torment him for all days to come. Unwilling to give up his powers, Yehowah ceased... for now...

But this Celestral was just planning the next thing to make the Dea pay for this humiliation. He created himself an army of his own angels, ones that resembled humans with wings, but had no soul and would submit to him without question. With his army built, he launched a rebellion against the Dea. Dea and her servants were completely caught off guard by this brutal coup de tat. The Dea's angels and her servants defended as much as they could. Blood rained from the sky as did angel corpses fall from it, and the mortals watched in fear and awe from below at this cosmic struggle. It truly was a gruesome rebellion...

But in the end, the Dea and her servants were caught off guard by it. They were scattered, leaving her vulnerable to a direct attack from Yehowah himself. In this intense battle, the Dea had the upper hand, her powers greater than his and was about to finish Yehowah off. But Yehowah used a form of trickery to send Dea falling to the Earth, where he then opened a vortex which she fell into and began to swallow her. Her Son arrived just as she was being consumed by it, but was unable to help her. His Mother then left him with this edict, and at the same time, this edict made a pact with the Earth:

"No matter how he teaches them, no matter how he threatens them, no matter how he indoctrinates them, he can never hope to subdue the little ones' thirst for knowledge and truth. They will inevitably seek out the truth of how they came into being. And when they finally reach the answer and begin to accept how they came into being, my Avatar shall appear within the Earth. And driven by their curiosity, they will find her. You must awaken her... for she is the one who will save mankind from him...

Farewell... my sweet Helial..."

After the vortex swallowed her, her son Helial - blind with rage - charged at Yehowah... only to be utterly struck down and killed. Helial declared that he would enter the cycle of reincarnation... and when the humans would discover his Mother's avatar, he would awaken and seek her out...

And now, thousands and thousands of years later in modern society...

The Mother of Origins

The news had spread all across the United States... and eventually to the world itself about mankind's latest and most astonishing and intriguing discovery. The discovery of a well-decorated and crafted white sarcophagus deep within a lit cave full of flowers and grass - a most unexpected thing to grow within such a cavern - and within this coffin there lay the scientists' next project. It was code named Project Unearthly Maiden. But little did any of the proud and curious scientists know just what this discovery would bring about... a prelude. A prelude to a great war which would utterly shatter the chains of a terrible karma...

User ImageIt was a stormy and windy night. A fair distance within the forest from the large, prosperous and prestigious compound of science and research facilities, there stood a figure among the trees. The silhouette of a what appeared to be a young man. His form was cloaked by the shadows save for the times when lightning would strike and reveal his full form to be that of a young man with short white hair, two different colored eyes, - one red, one blue- clad in what appeared to be an aristocratic cape or cloak of some kind. He had his hand held out, and above his hand a most intriguing sight hovered... it was what appeared to be an orb of light blue light.

"...There's no question about it..." the young shadowy man said as his eyes narrowed, speaking to seemingly no one in particular. "This is the place... I can sense her..." the assumption that he was talking to nobody would soon be shattered, for it was then that the orb in his hand began to flash in a strange pattern... and not only that, a voice speaking sounded from it. It was a rather deep pitched voice and every time it spoke the orb flickered. "We can sense it too. And reflecting upon it, it feels almost foolish that we had almost lost hope when her faith has proven itself to not be misplaced..." The young man closed his eyes. "Indeed, to think that after all these centuries, her faith has paid off..." he said softly before opening his eyes. "...and if we succeed tonight it will have paid off in full." and then the voice from the orb spoke again. "It was often them owing us for watching over them. But now it seems we owe it to them for their search for truth..." The young man nodded in agreement. "Yes, we do indeed owe a great deal to humanity for this, if not for their yearning for knowledge, wisdom and truth, this advent would never have been made possible." his eyes narrowed as he gazed at the large compound. "And the least we can do is give a hand in breaking the chains set by that accursed usurper... we'll await one of you to begin our little raid..."

And then the voice spoke from the orb again. "There will be two. It will be-" and then another roar of thunder sounded through the air, blocking out the sound of the names... but the young man seemed to hear what was said, for eyes widened somewhat and he looked at the orb. "What...? Him? I've no problem with her coming, but him...?" he exclaimed in surprise. And then the voice from the orb spoke in a rather annoyed tone. "We protested his participation as well, but the little annoyance wouldn't shut up about this whole event. And besides... two seems suitable for a proper escort." he said. The youth rolled his eyes. "That hardly seems a good reason to put him as one of them... especially if the risk is unwanted attention..." the voice spoke. "It's too late now. They're already on their way, and it will begin when they arrive with their forces." The young man gave a sigh. "So be it, then..." And then the orb of light dimmed into what appeared to be a simple glass sphere, which the youth then put away in his cloak. "Hmph... what a nuisance... I just hope he behaves tonight and not risk attracting his attention..." the youth looked skyward. "But then again..." a smirk came to his face as he glanced back behind him. "Perhaps attention is what we seek given our ultimate goals, right my brothers?" behind him may strange shadowy silhouettes stood, all of different shapes and sizes, and strange shifting rings of light floating over their heads, and all having glowing blue eyes...

Meanwhile within the science compound, within the large central research facility in its central room...

It was a large, yet dimly lit facility with computer desks upon which were analyzing computers and monitors laid about in various places of the room, but all of these things had cords that extended and linked to one thing. Within the center of this room where was a large glass and steel pillar-like tube structure which connected to the floor and extended to the ceiling, and inside was quite the spectacle... the very same project... the discovery. The sarcophagus sat upward within the tube... and she laid in there as if she were bound to the coffin, completely undisturbed by gravity. The girl who was clad in strange clothing... sporting tattoos upon her pale flesh... an unnatural sleeping beauty.

"It's unbelievable..." whispered a male scientist gazing at one of the monitors with astonishment. "This energy she's radiating is clearly in some dormant state of some sort but... it's unlike anything I've ever seen!" he exclaimed. He then turned to the attractive female scientist by his side. "What do you make of this?"

An Age of Magic

In an age long passed, the Continent of Jugdral was ruled by an evil dark god who overthrew the Etru Republic with his unholy army, giving rise to an era of sorrow and despair where many innocent lives died day by day and night by night to appease his hunger. But then there came a time when twelve gods descended to the people and chose Twelve Warriors to battle the darkness. After a long and gruesome war the dark god's empire was overthrown and peace came over the land...

The Kingdom of Etruria... blessed by the gods, was home to a vast population of those who excel in the arts of magic and swordsmanship. However, even a large, powerful, and prosperous kingdom such as that was not without its problems. For there was dispute among those who were of high standings. On behalf of the aging King, the Prince was administering a new government. However the Prime Minister felt that his position was being undermined. Calling upon aid from a few certain other Dukes, he formed a coalition opposing the Prince's authority. Just as this drama was starting to unfold, the eastern kingdom of Raus suddenly invaded Etruria, slaughtering all who stood in their path. Before long, the decision was made to subdue Raus.

But in the mean time... to the far west of the kingdom there stood a certain Academy... it is from this place that many with the potential to become strong mages and soldiers are put to the test...

User Image
The young man stood before the course that was set for him, a young man clad in a red robe and had two swords strapped to the sides of his belt. He was a young man training to become a mage knight, one who could wield weapons and cast magic, though such soldiers didn't weren't perfect at all magics save for one. And this one's favorite was thunder and he was quite a swordsman too. He certainly wasn't one to be underestimated. And now today on this day, it was time for him to show his class just how strong he had gotten. With that, he glanced to the side.

There, stood his classmates, his pals... and one certain one. A beautiful young woman, around his age, clad in an elegant outfit. A certain type of mage, she was. He gave a smile and a wink at her; she was his best friend. One whom he had known since his childhood, and he'd do everything he could to help her out whenever she needed it. At long last, it was time. "Cedric El Lencarde!" called out the instructor. "Are you ready!?" and then the one named Cedric focused on the course before him. "I'm ready!" he called out. "...BEGIN!" and then Cedric dashed forward into the course, drawing his swords. It was then that there were arrows fired at him. But Cedric either dodged them or deflected them with his blade very skillfully.

Then came the next threat. "Great. Golems." he growled angrily as humanoid stony beings came marching towards him. Cedric held his swords in front of him and closed his eyes. "Burn..." he whispered. In response to this, his aura lit up in a fiery crimson color. At once, two large fireballs shot forth and set the golems aflame, causing them to fall to the ground as Cedric charged on.

We live our lives on the frontlines

User ImageThis was also an age of strife... an age of war, and an age of those who desired war. Who loved to fight... those who fought to live, and lived to fight. A place where only the strongest survive, and those who were still strong, clashed with other strong ones. And one such strong group of people was one that was both respected and feared by those who've heard it's name. The Kutolah Clan. A warrior clan where all who are raised in it are taught the thrill of battle, and the glory of dying in battle. Many regarded them as nothing more than barbaric warmongers who only seek to cause chaos. But this was just a part of them. The Kutolah lived to fight, and they knew how to enjoy it, but they also had their set of morality and honor. They did not attack those who could not fight back, for there was no fun, or no meaning to that. Such an act was cowardice, and the Kutolah were not cowards. And for those who had power and attacked those who were powerless? The Kutolah despised them. Filthy nobles always strutting around like they can control every aspect of life. What exactly was it that was fun in their ways? Indeed, many of the Kutolah, if they were to come across such people, would slaughter such filth on sight.

But the people did not understand this, and thus still feared and shunned these proud warriors. But there was more to the Kutolah Clan than met the eye. Within this world of magic, there existed small spiritual beings that lived upon the chaotic energies of battle. These beings in appearance were that of little short fairies, but instead of the usual insect wings that all fairies possessed, these little beings possessed bat like wings, and had a sinister appearance about them. And their nature was to form pacts with those who have decided to live and die by the sword, feeding directly upon the chaotic energies of battle from all around their host's body, while in exchange, when called upon, the beings would unleash their power into their host, massively amplifying their combat abilities. And such a warrior clan like the Kutolah made a most ideal place for these beings to gather. In time, the Kutolah came to name this being a War Sprite.

This would be the tale of one such warrior, and his little companion.

Katsu Arakawa, orphaned as a young boy by bandits, and then found and raised by the Chieftain of the Kutolah, taught the ways of combat and the thrill of battle, had leaned against the wall of the castle with his eyes closed. Now at the age of eighteen, he was napping as much as the guards were, waiting. The King had hired the Kutolah Clan to deal with a possible assassination attempt on the King's life. Katsu didn't really know what this nonsense was, but quite frankly? He didn't much care. There was only one thing on his mind... to taste the thrill of facing a strong opponent. And normally assassins fought like cowards. This disgusted Katsu. "Aw, come on, buddy!" said a certain high yet raspy voice within his mind. It was his war sprite companion. "Who knows? Maybe this time you'll get to face someone strong?" the little being said. "Tch. Oh, can it." Katsu said. The name of his companion was Ktugach. The War Sprite he had formed his pact with about one year after Katsu came to be with the Kutolah. "Assassins are hardly any fun, and you know it." he said. He often communicated with Ktugach through his dreams. "Yeah, but still! There's gotta be something to enjoy about assassins! I mean, think about how fast they are, they're quite hard to hit!" Katsu gave a smirk at this. "True, they are somewhat fun to chase... I just hope that whatever assassin I'll meet tonight will last longer than the last ones I've fought..."

It was then that there was a chill that ran up and down his spine. This sign indicated that Ktugach was disturbed. "What's your problem?" he asked. There was silence in the hall, everyone who saw him would think he was mad, just talking to himself. "The scent of blood is outside... I think a few guards have been dispatched!" Katsu's eyes flew wide open and a grin came to his face. "Excellent..." he said as he picked up his dual swords, strapped them to his back and walked outside. Yes, the stench of blood was rank in the air. The assassin was nearby. He had ventured out into the center of the yard, glancing around.

"...Come out, come out, wherever you are..." Katsu said in a sing song tone. Nothing replied, save for the crickets and other sounds of the night. Wait a minute! That's it! An idea formed in Katsu's mind! The crickets could help him. Though not directly. With that, the young warrior closed his eyes and concentrated on the cricket noises... they were all coming from all around him... save for one area. Katsu focused on that area and then opened his eyes to nothing more than the Elephant bush! The fact that there were no crickets there clearly indicated that something had scared them off from that area. Katsu's eyes narrowed, trembling in anticipation. "So there you are, eh? You're a good hider, whoever the hell you are... but peek-a-boo to you..." he said quite clearly, putting his hands on the sheaths of his swords. "So why don't you come on out...

AND FIGHT ME!!!!"

He charged, drawing his dual swords from his sheaths he slashed, dicing the elephant bush into pieces as it's branches fell towards the assassin. That he found surprised him. A woman... a beautiful woman!

Please note that I adjust these characters to the setting that comes with the request if I find I can find a way to do so. And another note, I also like literate Bleach and Hellsing RPs, and if anyone would like to RP those with me? PM me.

And here's another RP starter, it's the starter to my Code Geass RP. Anyone wanna give it a try, PM me.

An air of tranquility blew throughout the Tokyo Settlement in Area 11... the land which was once known as Japan, but was taken away by the Holy Empire of Britannia. Despite the discrimination, and the terrorism that occasionally took place, all seemed well. Britannia had established a sense of order in Area 11. However, strange rumors were abound within the settlement. These rumors told of two strange orbs of light that hovered about in the dark parts of the city during the night... and two strange figures clad in white, one seemingly small, the other very tall... the aristocrats that dominated the settlement thought them to be nothing more than the urban whisperings among the commoners...

But little did they know... how true these rumors were...

Atop one of the many buildings, there they stood. Two figures clad in white, standing back to back with each other. Both of the figures wore long white cloaks, and had their faces hidden. They wore hoods which covered their heads, and veils which covered their faces... save for the eyes. Their eyes were closed at the moment, revealing flesh that was not human at all... for their flesh was azure like a pale sky. And they both had golden eyebrows, and a few strands of blond hair which dangled from their hoods.

After a few moments, the sides of the smallest one's hood twitched, and his eyes opened, revealing two emerald green eyes which held such gentleness and innocence to them. "...My client is home, Big Brother..." the boy said in a muffled tone. The man who accompanied him opened his eyes, revealing them to be a deep dark blue color. "As is mine... let us proceed with the task." he said. The young boy turned his head and glanced back at the tall figure. "Are you sure, Brother?" the tall one nodded. "Yes... Princess Cornelia may be a fierce and somewhat ruthless woman... but she's not so dishonorable as to attack a lowly messenger... let us be off... may our Mothers and Fathers be with you, Little Brother..." and then suddenly the tall man took off running to the building's edge and then leaped off of it, soon falling out of sight... only for an orb of radiant light - one of the rumored orbs - to rise into the air where he leaped out of sight. And then it flew far off into the distance... towards the G2 fortress, where Princess Cornelia li Britannia was...

The boy closed his eyes for a moment. "May they be with you too, Big Brother..." with that, the cloaked boy suddenly took off running to the opposite side of the building and then leaped off the edge of the roof, spreading his arms out in the process. After descending for a few seconds, he his entire form began glowing... he transformed into the second rumored orb of light. And then this orb took flight towards the manor of Princess Euphemia li Britannia. Upon arrival, the small orb of light hovered behind the thicket, just behind the gate of the manor. It was near the fountain of the manor, which laid in front and below of Euphemia's balcony...
