Chronicles 1
I awoke tormented by the light of day that streamed through the blinds hiding my corpse from the morning light. I sighed and sat upright and placed my head in my hands as I took a breath of useless air and a tear fell from these wicked wicked eyes. I forced myself to face this on coming day and to try to pretend for at least once that I was alive instead of dead inside.
