I went home to Trinidad on the 27th of June 2007, it was awesome there so many things have changed there since the last time i was there.
I took lots of pics of the flight there and of the place; so here they are xd
Me and my bro went lol , we had to get up at 3am to leave for the airport and check in.

When we finished checking in it was about 7 am and our flight was schedule to leave at around 9am
So we went to the departure gate at around 8am and when we got there we had to wait for our flight to be called.

oh yea my flight was on British airways flight number BA2153 to Port of Spain (Trinidad) via Bridgetown (Barbados)The plane type i went on was a Boeing 777.

When we finally got called to board the plane we was delayed for a while at the gate , then after the slgiht delay we started boarding.
Me and my bro sat on the last window seats on the plane on the right on the plane.

While we was waiting for the plane to pushback i took a few pics.

A few moments later our plane pushed back and a few mins after that we taxied to the runway for takeoff.
We taxied pretty fast to make up for lost time, this is when we was at the runway holding area.

This same plane is going Barbados lol, it beat us to Barbados but after it took off it was our turn to takeoff


This is when we turned on to the runway:


After we turned on the the runway and lined up. The engines were put on full power and we began our takeoff.

Takeoff on the Boeing 777 was awesome, when the engines were on full power the roared and the whole plane was shaking.

The view of the English contryside from the air was amazing, When we took off we headed to Southampton then Portsmouth and the Plymouth. Then The Atlantic Ocean.

Here we are flying past Plymouth about to enter the Atlantic Ocean we are around about 28,000 feet now.


When we reached 35,000 feet we were cruising over the Atlantic

While we was crusing i saw this pass us it looked awesome when you see it for real lol , This one is heading to Canada

We still have a long way to go before we reach Barbados


Since we had a long way to go and i satyed up all night before i decided to sleep for a while.
I woke up once when they air stewards were serving food and then went back to sllep when i woke up we were nearly at Barbados.

We are about 2 and a half hours away from Barbados now


i took this when i woke up the flight was full today


After about 1 hour we started to approach the Caribbean sea


Then...a hour and a half later the captin came on and said " we are begining our desend into Barbados now"

After this the seat belt sign came on and we started to turn

Here to plane is using the speed brake on the wing to help it slow down


We then desended and turned more and before we turned into Barbados to begin out approah to Grantley Adams Airport.

The touchdown was smooth and after touchdown we taxied to our gate to offload passengers and pick up passengers going to Trinidad

When we arrived at the gate it was busy The American airlines had just arrived from Miami


A few mins later an Air Canada from Toronto came

An hour later we were ready to go to Trinidad xd


We pushed back taxied to the runway for takeoff

A few mins later we turned on to the runways and took off

Now that we took off we had 40 mins left till we reached Trinidad

We turned and headed South to Trinidad

We climbed to 25,000 feet

We cruised for about half hour, Then the captin swithed to seat belt signs on and we started to desend.

We turned into Trinidad and headed along the North coast then desended into Port of Spain

We headed out to the Gulf of Paria, Then made a turn into Port of Spain

The is when when turned for our appraoch , look closey you can see the coast of Trinidad


The left side of the plane got to see Port of Spain (capital of Trinidad)

We got closer and began our appraoch to Piarco International


We flew over the Caroni swamp on our approach

When we got out the plane it was aroung 3pm Trinidad time , when we cleared immigration it was around 4:30pm
After we cleared immigration we got out suit cases and when we cleared customs it was around 5pm.

Then finally we got outta the airport and i saw my Granma waiting for us xd

It felt so awesome to be home lol
i took this pic when waiting for the taxi lol


When i reached my house in Trinidad it was around 7pm, I said hi to my family and then had a shower and sleept xd
