Fishfins are a species of mine (whose name will eventually be changed. They have gills on thier rib cages. The males look more eel-esce and the females resemble very ornate tropical fish. The males are almost all subservient to the females who are literally useless as far as daily chores go. Their fins are far too delicate to labor. Very few females who were not born 'dazzlingly beautiful' sometimes join the male ranks in status and carry on jobs such as maids, hunters, or guardians. Their fins are either genetically short or cropped down to a manageable level.

Maekil -[x][x]

Maekil is a curious male who travels alone through the tropical seas of his home. He, like his brethren, can only stay above water for a number of minutes in a dry area. Their gills must be moist in order for them to breath in the oxygen. They can, however, breath with their lungs provided that they are at least being misted.

Naephoni - [x]

This feisty female is an outcast to her kind. The perfection-crazed culture she lives in curses her to live as a male. Though in her mind, that's far better than being some useless trophy as the Geadae (the fancy females, basically ultra-royalty). She's typically a warrior and when a female needs escorting to thier safe haven further south to escape the monsoons of thier home, she's the first called. Since she's female, the Geadae don't worry as much as they might if they had a male escorting them alone. Nephi is very brightly colored, though her cropped short fins make her a pariah. No one knows if she was once as beautiful as the Geadae, but now she's "not." Bears a long spear, golden armlet on one arm, and armor for her midsection, forearms, and sometimes even sections of her tail (with soft organics for movement's sake).

Raptorkin

The first thing you might notice in the raptorkin descriptions below is that I refer to something called 'hotblood.' It's a poorly named medical twist on the males of the race. When they smell blood they go nuts on a killing spree. (Think... I dunno... werewolves or something. That mindless, souless, attacking everything in sight...)

Dein - [x][x][x][x]

He is blue with brown markings in a natural pattern. He's got an inheritable condition for his kind, called hotblood. He pretty much goes berserk when he scents blood or other... ah... bodily fluids usually related with procreation.

He was engineered in a science lab, and was the first to survive to adulthood. He broke free and found his way through a portal they'd made to another world. Now he resides in a land of fantasy.

Nysine - [For the markings]

Ny second female. She was also a part of the lab, though she was released. More like set free so that the government wouldn't find out about their experiments. She has a great talent for magic. She does not have hotblood. Normally the trait is carried on through males, since they are smaller - they need a bit of a boost in the battling department. She has maroon corn rolls - that's her natural hair color. Her markings are a rainbow of greens and pinks and such cascading down her spine and down her tail just like her descendant Ari. Her base color is tan, f.y.i.

Corren - [x][x][x]

Angst.Central. That said, he is an interesting character. He was also generated in the lab, but kept as a showcase to show to various crooked rich people to fund the other experiments. He has severe self mutilation issues, and has attempted suicide more than once. He has heavy hotblood traits, and was finally released into the wilds because he was too much for the lab to handle or afford. They had to pay a vet a large sum every time he has a little 'episode' and then follow up with bribes to keep the vet's mouth shut.

Sharra - [x][x]

One word: b***h. Dominatrix sorta female. As toned as it gets, fast, and mean. She's a Hunter, born and raised for the very purpose of hunting down the lab's mistakes and executing them. She's an awesome bad guy, methinks.

Humanoids

I've got a healthy mix here. There's elves, humans, biomech-elves XD Just one. A dark elf... Most of these drawings aren't great but they serve thier purpose.

Tanya - [x][x]

She's my origional OC. She can do magic and she's a decent fighter. Better with her bow than with a blade, but she can survive. She turns into a dragon at one point, thus learning her 'true' nature. Her twin brother changes into a wolf. For some reason she's the one to inherit the blood that both of them should theoretically share. ** She normally wears ranger type armor, leathers and pliable fabrics.

Tsunami - [x]

Alyx - [x]

He's drow (for those of you who don't know, its the same thing as a 'dark elf') that's in a world similar to Savitor's Underdark. Oh who am I kidding? It may as well be a fancharacter! XD He's not one to go along the the drow ways, because he has elfin blood somewhere up the liniage tree. No one can come out and accuse him of it though, cause it's way up there. He's the noble ranger sort but can have a dark side. No pun intended. He's the good hearted sort above ground but if and when he returns to the Underdark his dark heritage slowly takes his heart back to its immoral depths.

Lai'en - [x]

This guy's a half elf. And he's the trainer to an entire kingdom's up and coming young ones (humans to be precise). Other races are also permitted to enroll their own children but at such an insane price that none but royalty can afford it. The kingdom he's found as his employer pays him not in gold but in other means. He can pretty much have whatever he wants. But true to his heritage, this guy remains somewhat pure of heart. Between you and me he just hasn't figured out that women count as a wish. Teehee. Well, he's a sweetie anyway.

Allia - [no image]

She was Tay's unwilling Siphon for a number of years. And pretty much his mother as well. The pair (twins) grew up on their own in an apartment that nearly burnt down several times thanks to her brother. Not even I know how they paid for it. Its a sort of 'don't ask, dont tell' understanding. XD Both she and her brother dress up as mall-goths or something similar. Allia doesn't share her brother's love of cosplay though she can dress as either sex and get away with it. Tall and skinny type. And she has a really scary pet rabbit. It can eat people o_O Not really but it can sure scratch up anyone it feels like. Tay won't touch it. Tay has a pet of his own. It's his pet rock, Oscar. He eats goldfish flakes. CX

Tay - [x]

Depending upon where he is in his personal 'timeline' he can be anything from a naive and hyper crossdressing crazy-child or a drug-laden angsty teenager. If the former, then his sister Allia will likely also come into the picture. She's slightly older than him and shall have her own box. Tay has a sort of 'familiar' later in life - a little shadow drake that he just calls his 'dragon' who serves as a siphon for Tay's interesting fire ablities. Simply put - when he dances: he conjures flames.

Ssyth'r - [x][x]
