I know this may seem like a very dumb topic, but there are so many people who don't talk to people. It could be because they are shy or afraid, but they don't talk to people. Take for example a girl has a crush on a boy, she won't talk to him because she doesn't want to make a fool of herself. Now say this boy likes her back, he won't talk to her either. He is afraid that he will be rejected, even if he doesn't ask her out or anything. So what does that equation give you. A possible couple that won't happen because neither party will suck it up enough to speak to each other! One perfectly good relationship gone to waste. It truly is a shame.
Now let's say that someone doesn't talk to others at all, no relationships here. She will have problems bonding with people and meeting new people. I sometimes don't talk to people, but I know I can. Just yesterday, I sat in towns, no one to talk to. I tend to wait for someone to talk to me. Not always a good strategy. But I lucked out. A wonderfully nice man came over to me and asked me why I was alone, and we continued to talk. I have met a wonderful new friend, several actually, just because this man had the balls to talk to me! Thank you Hura, very much.
Whether it's a new friendship or a relationship, there needs to be an initiation. Do not rely on the other person to initiate, take a stand and talk to that person. Good Luck.
