Yggdrasil Seed (Irminsul Seed): Yggdrasil Seed is a martial art that Ymir developed utilizing a shafted weapon, like a staff, rod, spear, javelin, lance, and other weapons of the like, his clawed left hand, and his natural ability to teleport short distances for both offensive and defensive uses. Though the style acts more defensive then anything, there are traces of an offensive fighting style to exist within it. Generally the weapon is wielded in the right hand and used as a parry, the right side of the body foremost, while the left hand is readied for a counter attack. The weapon is also utilized like a pole weapon, keeping the advantage of greater-than arm-length distance between his foe and himself. By observation, Yggdrasil Seed appears to be a combination of Improvised Weapon Fighting, Chow Gar's mantis stance, Hu Quan's tiger stance, the staff use of Liu-bo and various grapples from Greco-Roman Wrestling, however there are elements that are entirely unique. The style is generally effective against most conventional weapon styles and hand-to-hand combat methods, though with careful observation, various weaknesses could be exploited.

:::Special Abilities:::

Astral Projection: Ymir is capable of allowing his astral body to separate from his prime-material body and traverse the astral plane freely. During this period, his astral body becomes the dominantly sentient, leaving the prime-material body to fall unconscious. The astral body is able to observe the prime-material plane, but can not influence it as the body is not bound the the laws of the prime-material plane. Therefor, the body can pass through solid objects, is unaffected by gravity, light, darkness, kinetic energy and other forces. The astral plane is often closely associated to the dream world, and therefor, if the astral body comes into contact with a prime-material body that is sleeping, Ymir is capable of entering the dream world of the sleeping individual and influence it. In the astral plane, during the time that the prime-material and astral body are separated, a slender silver chord is visible connecting the two together. If one were to sever this chord with a device capable of influencing astral bodies, the spirit and body would be separated, likely forever.
Short-Range Teleprotation: Ymir is also capable of short-range teleportation, able to traverse to any location within his sight range. This is achieved by effectively bending the plane of existence that he inhabits until the two points are touching, where he freely moves from the starting location to the destination, so at no point does he not exist, rather his body take the quickest route from point 'A' to point 'B', not being the straight line, but the forcing of the two points to touch. Because of the nature of this power, he is also capable of moving objects, energies and other people with him. Due to the forces required to do this, the process if very taxing on Ymir's body, so multiple uses would exhaust his energy and even make him pass out if used too much. The range can be altered to long-range under the condition that he have a clear and present image in his mind of what the location looks like from a third person point of view, therefor, locations tied to memory could be moved to without being in site range.
Shape-shifting: Because of his demonic nature, Ymir can also re-arrange the cellular and genetic structure in his body to change his physical form. An instant change can only be minor, so to speak, as no matter can be created or destroyed. Therefor a quick transformation would have to have generally the same build, size and composition of his natural state, though a transformation where a long amount of time is used, he could effectively create or subdue 50% of his natural form. So if a long time were taken he could appear as a child, or a giant, or even an animal, though no matter the time it takes, the process is very painful and can only last for up to an hour, the revision is also an excruciating process. Ymir is also uncomfortable using this ability as he fears that any change he makes has a possibility to be permanent.

Unique Metabolism: Because of his parents, Ymir is quite capable of gaining sustenance from both ingesting food and liquid or from the emotional and sexual energies emitted from humans. His metabolism, catabolism, and anabolism are accelerated beyond that of a normal human, making his body able to function faster, produce energy faster, use energy faster, etc. Because of this however, he does not absorb nutrients in his body correctly, therefor increasing his chances of malnutrition.
Deformity: A genetic mutation in Ymir's body cause him to be born without wings, as most succubus and incubus are, though a small bone ridge exists on the scapula where his wings would be if he were to have a pair. In addition to that, Ymir's canines and first premolars are raised higher in his mouth and longer then that of normal, and the second premolar all of his molars are fused into teeth plates, making the total count of teeth in his mouth at 24, the order being: Central Incisor, Lateral Incisor, Canine, First Premolar, Molar Ridge and Wisdom Tooth. An additional mutation is the heavy deposit of Calcium, Carbon and Iron in his lower left arm, causing the bone to be resilient to breaks like metal, and the nails on the hand to grow long and sharp, with a resistance to break. Though this causes a red flag to go up upon an observer, making Ymir obviously not human, they work quite effectively as weapons and tools.

Weapons:

The Lance of Longinus: Though Ymir calls it The Lance of Longinus, it is in no sense 'the' but instead 'a' lance. Though the story is not elaborated upon by Ymir, apparently the Lance was broken into at least 20 pieces and the pieces were melted down in separate locations and each formed into a new blade. This was done by an order known as The Knights of the Lance, of which, Ymir had become a member before hand. Each of the knights walked away with two blades forged from the original lance, but the number of knights is also not elaborated on. Ymir stepped away from this with a spear head shaped to look like a roman pilum, and a dagger. This was done by The Knights of the Lance because legend states that if one man were to possess the blade, he would have the power to rule the world, therefor the organization separated the blade so that one man could never possess it. Ymir eventually melted down and changed both of the blades, the pilum's head and counter balance were melted down and reshaped into a head that more resembled the Lance's original appearance of a winged dory, while the dagger was reshaped into a different weapon. At times Ymir can be caught speaking with the blade as if some voice were coming from it, at times holding conversations with the unheard voice. He claims that several spirits use the blade as a body and exist within it, and that he is hearing and speaking with those spirits, and to those he knows well, he will even state that one of the spirits is a portion of that of his departed mother.
The blade is that of a dory, a spear commonly used by the roman legion in ancient times, and flared wings decorate the bottom of the blade. A small slit is open in the center of the blade, a little wider then a nail. The head as a whole was modified slightly so that if it were to be removed from the shaft, or were the shaft to break that it could be used as a dagger. the shaft is about four feet long and made of a sturdy and slightly flexible wood with a light brown color, and at the end a counter balance is affixed in order to center the balance to the center of the weapon as it is most commonly used one handed. The counter balance is from the same metal used to make the head and therefor possesses the same magical qualities of the head. The weapon is decorated with various objects and trinkets, each one not serving and magical purpose but more of a reminder of some sort. The blade is wrapped with a thin bandage like that used to cover the wounds of a leper, appropriately stained a slight yellow, most likely from sweat or pus. Right below the blade, a grey and brown pinion and lock of beaded hair are both tied, each a memento from one of his adopted children. The shaft of the spear is wrapped with a bandage similar to the one on the head but unstained as if never used. All of the items are for some reason resistant to stains from blood and any other fluid that may touch them, this is not by magical means and remains a mystery even to Ymir himself.
Because the weapon does possess a portion of the original Lance of Longinus, it contains a few magical properties from the blade, they are however fewer and weaker then they would be had the blade been completely compose of the original. These powers include:
-The weapon is able to house a hand-full of spirits, acting as a body for them and prevent them from being lost and
-The lance also creates a shower of sparks when it comes into contact with most types of metal, and though these sparks could do no real damage by themselves, the do serve as a good distraction and are capable of igniting dry flammables. The completed blade would be able to dissolve the metals in addition to creating sparks.
-The spear also has the ability to change shape and reform itself into different things, being able to transform itself into any other weapon that would require the same amount of metal, wood and fabric that the spear has present. The change lasts for only a few seconds and so can only be used for a few strikes before it will revert, as the complete blade would be able to last indefinitely. This power is currently dormant and nearly extinct.
-When blood comes into contact with the metal on the spear, it bubbles and sizzles, evaporating the liquid in a few seconds of contact. The reason for this is most likely that it is feeding, and using the blood to sustain itself. The completed blade would have the ability to do the same to the flesh of any organic compound struck.
-The lance also has the ability to distinguish it's owner from another, and if another person were to try to wield the weapon it would seem to be ten times as heavy, making the spear as a whole feel to be about 150 pounds, in addition to that, the entirety of the weapon seems to heat up, and thought the actual temperature, it is still able to cause up to second degree burns with prolonged exposure. If the spear were be wielded by something at that simulated weight, and were attempted to be used against Ymir, the weapon would further increase to a point that the wooded shaft would snap from the burden. The completed weapon is said to have taken 20 able-bodied men wearing gloves to transport it when not wielded by the owner.

Luparas (The Wolf): Luparas is a sawed-off shotgun that Ymir had made for him in 1893 by an American gunsmith. The metal used to make the barrel was made from the melted down dagger also created using the original Lance of Longinus. Ymir had this done because at the time guns were the main form of combat at the time, and he chose a sawed-off shotgun because he is an awful shot and needed the wide spread in order to be able to successfully hit someone. Ymir still occasionally uses this weapon when his enemy is reluctant to stop using a ranged weapon.
The weapon looks similar to an early Winchester double-barrel design with shortened barrels to increase spread range when using certain kinds of shells. It uses a hammer-lock firing system, two separate hammers with two separate triggers, one per barrel. It reloads using a hinge system, needing to be reloaded after the two shells have been used, in some cases this is a disadvantage because of the need to reload after each tow shots, but it also allows him to use different kinds of shells after each shot. The stock is a oak and has a carving of the tree of life from Norse mythology carved in on each side.
Luparas has the same magical abilities as Ymir's spear, but to a much weaker magnitude, each only being about half as powerful as that on the spear. Only one spirit is housed in the gun. Although not 'powers' Ymir has several different shells that he uses with his shotgun, the list is as follows:
-Beanbag: These shells are usually used during sparring matches where Ymir is using his shotgun. These are non-lethal shells that fire a small plastic bead filled pack. Though they have a lot of stopping power, they can not penetrate the skin, but will leave a nasty bruise. These shells are marked with a black casing.
-Bolo: These shells fire two metal slugs connected with a thin razor sharp wire connecting them. When they leave the barrel the begin to spin at high speeds, effectively creating a flying blade. These rounds are extremely lethal and have the ability to sever limbs. These shells are marked with a purple casing.
-Barreneke: These shells are similar to a regular slug, but have a pointed tip and grooved sides that make it spin, therefor increasing the accuracy of the projectile dramatically. These shells are marked with a green case.
-Dragon's Breath: This is a case filled with a fine zirconium-based powder, that, when fired, sends a cone of flame from the end of the barrel that extends up to 30 feet. Ymir uses these like short range flame thrower, and though the exposure to flame is not as extended as with a normal flame thrower, the ignited zirconium powder can cover anyone hit with it and burn them just as effectively as with napalm. These shells are marked with orange cases.
-Flechette: These shells are packed with 12-20 small dart-like projectiles, working in a similar method as a buckshot round, but being far more aerodynamic and possessing more penetrating power then the standard shell. Because of the design of these shells, they are extremely effective against light or unarmored individuals. These shells are marked with red cases.
-Hatton: Also known as disintegration rounds, these shells are often used by S.W.A.T. for as the name suggests, disintegration. They are normally employed on locked or bolted doors to force them open without risk of the round bouncing off of the metal and endangering the person firing the weapon or people around him. A dense lead powder and wax mixture are contained within the round, focusing the destructive capabilities. The range is limited so these shells are usually used for the intended purpose, but Ymir has been known to employ them on people. These shells are marked with gray cases.
-OC Gas: These shells are packed with a soft plastic case containing Oleoresin Capsicum, otherwise known as Pepper Spray. When fired, the plastic case ruptures, deploying the gas in a cone in front of the barrel. This is a non-lethal round, but the gas does cause inflammation of the eyes, runny nose, difficulty breathing, coughing and a burning sensation to the skin. The effects last for about 40 minutes and are temporary, but the temporary blindness can be forced away with about five minutes or so of blinking to encourage tears. These shells are marked with yellow cases.

Spingitoio di Spirito: Spingitoio di Spirito is a magical device given to Ymir by Pope Celestine II as a bribe to have him march during the first Crusade. Originally it was not a weapon at all but a magical metal rod that Ymir could affix to below the head of his spear to carry a banner. Wanting to keep the magical properties but use the device as a weapon, Ymir reshaped the rod into a double set of blades that he could still fix to his spear and make it more like a partisan, but with dagger-like blades instead of ax-like blades. Ymir can also wield it in his hand like a double-bladed dagger, though this is a less preferred method of use.
The blade does not bear any distinguishing marks, and therefor few people could actually tell that the weapon was anything more then a simple blade, which in reality makes it all the more deadly.
The Springitoio di Spirito has the ability to repel spiritual energy that is not housed within something. Therefor, anyone projecting themselves in the astral plane, purified energy bolts, ghosts, and anything else of the like can be repelled instantly with little more then a thought from the wielder. Despite the power being simple, it is rather effective when used in the right situation, and with the time he has had it, Ymir has been testing it's capabilities in many situations, learning how it can best be employed, and using it at opportune moments.

Appearance:

Ymir stands at five foot, nine inches tall, a little short for full grown males, though not so short that he would stand out based on height. He is of a lean/fit build, not packed with muscle, but fit and flexible enough that he is rather capable in combat. His skin has a hint of pallor commonly associated with those who are anemic, and his skin does not tan even with exposure to the sun. Ymir's hair is long, extending a bit past his collar bone and curling inwards at the ends, and has a brown color that looks reddish in direct sunlight. He usually at least keeps his hair in some order, not always brushing it but combing his clawed fingers through to bring some order to it. Soft green eyes peer from behind his lids, and are of such a pale green that they appear unnatural to observers. His face is long and noble looking, and his full lips naturally return to a slight frown when relaxed, making him look cold to most people that do not know him well. Unless unfed for a while, no scars are visible on any of his body, though when unfed, various ones with be located on his chest, back, arms and legs, but none appear anything more the cuts that he may have gotten earlier in his life. Despite the large amount of scars on his body, none of them are located on his face. One of the most distinguishing features on Ymir's body is the long claws on his left hand, occasionally he attempts to hide this with clothing, but it is almost always noticeable.

Armor:

Ymir seldom wears more then the most simple armor, finding the encumbrance too great to benefit. Instead he more often uses his natural ability to dodge, parry and absorb blows as a form of 'armor' in a sense.

Clothing:

Even though Ymir wears many different outfits, one general thing remains the same, they are all abstract or unique in some manner. This is a strange trait seeing as Ymir usually tries to avoid public attention, but wearing outfits that would draw the eyes of onlookers.

Personality:

Often times Ymir is solemn and quiet, but around friends and family whom he still holds close, he warms up and becomes much more open, though he often appears stoic. One of his most predominant emotions around strangers is fear, knowing that often times humans reject and destroy things that are different, especially those they do not understand. When speaking, normally Ymir is cold and blunt, being straight to the point and not concerning the feelings of others. Despite this, Ymir is loyal to anyone he holds close to him, which granted is only a few select people, but those he associates with can sometimes get the same treatment. A trait that remains unchanged is his generally laid back outlook on things, knowing that time resolves all issues, though he doesn't have a problem assisting it along if the need arises.
