Inhumane Dream
He fell to his knees and slumped foreward, his fingertips digging harshly into his skull. "No.. I won't lose.." he muttered to himself repeatedly.
"I won't.. lose.. won't.. lose.. wontlosewontlosewontlose"
'-THIS- is what you are..'
The voice echoed throughout his mind, his shoulderblades beginning to rise from his back. With a scream of agony he fell back into an arched position, arms flopping to his sides. His eyes clenched shut as the sickening sound of his bones popping and flesh ripping emitted from his back. The top of his head pushed against the floor, eyes rolling into the back of his head as his mouth draped open in the shape of a twisted smile. With a twitching hand, he reached over to his knife that had fallen.
Without a sound, he swiftly brought the knife to his chest and abdomen, making a clean vertical slice down his torso. A soft chuckle escaped his parted lips, metallic wires extending from his back to hold him up as he lifted his scarred hands, his shirt splitting in half in the center, exposing the deep gash. He then brought his violently shaking hands to the wound and pulled, his laugh growing louder as he felt his own exterior rip apart.
His breath became raspy yet that same wide grin remained, a small rivulet of blood trickling down from the side of his lips..
